I think this is a good update honestly. I with i had tried to push at least on rank 35 for the pin, but it ok i am mostly a casual anyway. I think this new rework will be the reason i push higher. One thing they should add is the ability to sign up for a competitive queue. Here me out, this queue will be a separate matchmaking that people who meet certain requirements can enter. Example, 2000-2500+ trophies, masters in ranked (preferably a more competitive reworked ranked), and at least 60k total trophies (requirement milestones can be adjusted). And you can choose to have it on or off depending on whether you want sweaty gameplay or a more casual experience. In case the matchmaking in the queue is slow. If anyone has an idea to stop win traders becoming a problem in this queue system say so, i honestly don't have any ideas.
One problem i have with supercell is that they are getting too greedy. Every season, they must release a broken brawler that overthrows the former broken one, and it is always mythical/legendary. Idk, i really like the game but right now its just not fun at all
Frank said that the leaderboard will still show all the trophies collected in total and that after the trophy reset the number of trophies will not decrease ..
I think it should at least be memorialized in you brawler menu where each brawler you had r35 would have a little stamp next to their name or something.

My account was created just a few mounts before the release of the game, and as a person who didn't even get single rank 30 since they released (still can't believe rank 20 isn't max anymore), I can say that its one of the best and worst updates. On one hand, it will be much, much easier to push brawlers to 1k, on the other hand people that have grinded their lives away will loose like 25-30% of their trophies. Its a double-edged sword. But I still like the idea and the fact they are actually trying to improve the game. (Unlike CRLs dev team, I have played that game for 8 years now and after they added champions it became more unbalanced than any other game imaginable. + Too much p2w)
Most top players had little danger in losing leaderboard ranks due to the few amount of games you could play as a result of long matching times. This is about to be very interesting. Unfair approach as there should have been a patch to quicker matches. Even a system of scaling up the bots ability would have been a better idea.

I think the update is great. I understand that for pro-ladder players it is disappointing, but those players make up only 0.001% of the community. I believe this update benefits Brawl Stars greatly. It will also allow many more people to compete for #1 since everyone starts at the same trophies every season (as long as they have every brawler over 1k). This means an underdog, if they play enough, can achieve #1 global. Brawl Stars is mostly filled with casual players; for the most part, it is a casual game, especially on the ladder.
Unpopular opinion:this update is cool since it helps newer people(and most people are new) and we can get skins easier and pusching will be easier too and if you had rank 35 they will give you a pin and player title and it always shows how much r35s you had

I think it's a solid update because it eliminates the toxicity of trophy pushing. Climbing the ladder in ranked is good enough for tryhard content. If people quit playing trophy modes once they hit max, there will be less teamers vs the casual players, which is who SuperCell mostly cares about.

Join date: 2024 i joined when this game started on beta and this is their best update yet lmao. this wipes wintrading off the floor and makes skilled matchmaking higher, and makes hitting the max you can reach with your brawler (like my rank 50 gold 3 8bit).
I think they should add a de-rank system to ranked. 1. it'd be way harder for mid players to reach high ranks and 2. people who reach masters will have to take it seriously to not de-rank and not give up after 1 round
Personal opinion, I think this update is going to have the best impact on casual players, who just like to play for fun, because the pros might not like losing this many trophies in the blink of an eye.
I think the update might be really bad, at the same time it will be good. I feel like ranks will be free now and there will also be worse randoms, and having my hours upon hours of time gone to waste is really sad, I dont like that the trophies will be less competitive but at the same time i want it to take actual skill to get an average rank 30. Cosmetics cant replace hours of time, even if they are exclusive, it wont mean all that much if you prioritize other pins and stuff. There will be a lot on this update that I wont like but we will see how it goes.
