    This review misses several good points about the Armada vs. the competition. For one, in the real world right now, you'd have to pay $3K to $6K more to get an Expedition or Tahoe which has the same features the Armada does. That far more than takes care of the minimal MPG differences in these cars. In addition, the Armada is the quickest of the three - 0-60 in 5.9 secs per Car & Driver! The Tahoe takes 7.2 secs! Another thing - this (and the Ford) have fully independent suspension all around. The Tahoe ride / handling is just not up to par with the Armada and Expedition. Lastly - this isn't a Ford or Chevy ... much better build quality. In summary, the Armada is a bargain full-size SUV, the best value by far.

      Yukon Denali? $75K. Minus $15K for this unit is a no brainer.

      Also, isnt it that the GM competition 3rd rows still dont fold flat?

      3rd row storage, not being flat. These are suvs! Do you want storage space? Purchase a pick-up truck or a moving van! Suvs are built to haul passengers, groceries, luggage, and so on, which the Armada is perfectly capable of. Do you want it to pick up lumber from the lumber yard? As I said, get a pick-up! After all of the problems, the U.A.W. caused, I wouldn't give the Tahoe, GMC Acadia, Ford Expedition, or Toyota Sequoia a thought, as I've purchased these vehicles in the past. All of them were nothing but problems from beginning to end!!

    When you start talking about cup holders you lose me.... I am a truck guy, I love SUVS too. 4x4 and Off-road is where is at, soccer mom's can buy those minivan CUV mall crusiers. The Armada is a serious off-road capable machine, let's talk about that.

    Car reviews are notorious for not exactly saying anything. This takes that to a whole new level...

    I recently purchased a 2019 Nissan Armada Platinum. I thought everything about it was extremely functional and useful. As far as other Suvs, I've owned GMC, Ford, and Toyota. After owning these other brands, I will never consider another bramd except Nissan. As I feel the assembly in the U.S. of vehicles has really hit an all-time low. I'm certainly not a fan of the U.A.W. I enjoyed the Armada so much that I came across a 2018 Armada Platinum and purchased that as well. The Armada is certainly ahead of its time. People complain about cargo space, as Suvs are not pick-trucks or moving vans. They are created for the functional purposes of hauling passengers. As for off-road capability, that's a whole other story. Trucks can handle off-road, but when you're talking extremely off-roadibg, only trucks that are specifically fitted for such capabilities should be doing so. What most individuals don't know is that if you take a vehicle off-roading in such a manner that it shouldn't be, and you cause damage to your vehicle, the manufacturers can void your warranty for misuse of the vehicle, no one everr mentions that little bit of info...lol By the way, I gave this review a thumbs down! I thought your review hit points that were inaccurate, points that didn't make sense, and just an overall dissatisfaction of Nissan Armada as a whole, in other words biased. I know Ford and G.M. don't produce anything worth looking at, but that's not Nissan's fault.

    It's very frustrating when you see a review by someone that obviously doesn't appreciate and/or probably doesn't even like a full size SUV/truck.
    This is a very negative review.

    This vehicle is sold as the Nissan Patrol in Europe, Asia, and SA. Lots of its features are dated because no major changes have been made to it since it first came out in 2010. The cut and style has remained the same for 7 yrs! Fuel efficiency and old infotainment make me want to wait for the 2018 expedition.

    Great video, but I think you have an agenda in your review. You seem biased that you don’t like large SUVs, which doesn’t help me analyze comparisons in this segment. You seem to talk how large SUVs are not good to drive. I understand that this is not a sports car, and that’s not why people buy large SUVs.
    It will also help to mention how tall you are. You look taller than average height.

    Yo this car is amazing!!!! I rented it and I was impressed! The v8 sounds sooo good. But the infotainment system is supperrrrr outdated. Not even Bluetooth compatible. Bux r,w,y aux compatible..... crazy. But this car is a great buy, just be ready to switch out the infotainment system with some Apple products then you’ll have a top rated suv. Im thinking about buying 1 Along with a matching gtr.

      David Stanley qx80 it offers better materials this armada has a lot of plastic the qx80 barely has any plastic

    • @Bimmer_Bob
      @Bimmer_Bob 8 лет назад +2

      The Armada kills the QX80 for value. Its missing a very few QX80 features, but nowhere near $20,000 worth of features.

    • @romel4life375
      @romel4life375 8 лет назад

      Bob S it really doesn't 30 less hp and torque and cheaper materials plus they literally stole the interior off the qx80 idk how they got away with that

    This is a 7 year old Nissan Patrol. Nissan is getting lazy. The Toyota Sequoia is by far a better vehicle. They should do a side by side test.
