In case you don't know, Sonia and Manic are Sonic's siblings. They come from Sonic Underground, which is the last Sonic cartoon created by DIC, it was published during the Adventure era of Sonic. Due to Sega of America abandoning the idea of appealing Sonic to the Western audience, Sonic Underground ended on a cliffhanger and got cancelled.

Manic and Sonia are characters voiced by Urkel, just as Sonic was in Sonic Underground, a sonic animated series that ran for 40 episodes that aired 19 years ago in France, before airing in the UK, and in the USA supposedly in syndication. Anyway Prince Manic and Princess Sonia are the siblings of Prince Sonic, their mother had to give them up as a seer warned of a deadly fate, the evil egg shaped villain, took control of the land, and later on we learnt of the prophecy made by the seer, that one day they would reunite with their mother, and something would happen (It’s been a long time.) Eggnog would have to be defeated first however, and the people who took care of our heroes and raised them, were captured and roboticized, there were other details such as how they were leaders in the resistance, and they had the magic powers of instruments to fight the villains, also Knuckles, Angel Island, and the Death Egg appear in this show.
