Tile placement games wouldn't normally be my first choice if I was going to play a game, but for some reason this one looks really good! Then again, it had four superb salespeople promoting it. It's just as well you guys didn't get into selling dodgy secondhand cars! Great video, really enjoyed this.
Love game night and always keen to see an episode - not a huge fan of this game and can’t quite put my finger on it. Reminds me of Splendor and the “get things to get things to get points” which I don’t seem to mind in some games (deck builders for instance) but this left me a bit cold. For such a gorgeous game it feels as though the theme is a real disconnect (a bit like Splendor again I guess).
The stacks of tiles should be face down. You don’t get to see what’s coming up before you make your choice - and in fact, you have to decide everything before you see the next tile, e.g. what colour worshippers to pay/destroy, etc.
29:00 Yeah, i thought the same. It touches a green to the side but from the rules explanation it sounded like you needed a identical color underneath as foundation (instead of just having one touch any side)
I'm not used to Lincoln having this much AP. But they should have played with the stacks face down. And the score was 28 lincoln and 20 for everyone else. Mike made an err.
Those are from the BoardGameGeek Store at boardgamegeekstore.com. Those are the second set of the Artist Series prints. They are great. Thanks for the note and for watching.
Ok I love watching you all play games. But I have a question Dave why do you always help Lincoln? lol 😂 You actually help everybody but it seems like you helped Lincoln more than everybody else .
Part of that is that since this is a very dry game , I requested everyone try to engage in discussing options so that it will help the audience connect. Most games that comes naturally and others you have to be conscious about it. Thanks for the note and for watching.
Nikki's hair is always so fun! Another wonderful play through! Thanks guys!
Always the greatest rules explanation. You make games feel amazing. Great team, keep up the great work!

I enjoy watching you all play as well. Getting to know your mannerisms is really fun. Thanks!
Mike's question about cubes 11:36 ...hillarious! 😂
I'm still watching, but at approx 28 minutes doesn't Mike make an illegal move with that green tile?
explodingpenguin 29:29 yes i believe so.
Just paused the video to post this.
28:52...love the reference Link! Saw that band live in New York just before Chris Cornell passed away.
And again at 33:30! Lol

Cool video, are you guys planning to play something from Red Raven games? Above and Below, Near and Far and Islebound are really cool.
At 25:25, should Lincoln have paid the white ones since he has the White Infinity?
Edit: fixed word that auto-corrected incorrectly.
You are right, he should have paid one fewer white. Luckily that didn't stop him from beating us :)
Is the green tile on the 2nd row of Mike’s pyramid placed correctly as the two tiles under it is blue and yellow??
29:00 Yeah, i thought the same. It touches a green to the side but from the rules explanation it sounded like you needed a identical color underneath as foundation (instead of just having one touch any side)
You are correct that was an illegal move.
Oops. In my defense for not catching it, don't blue and yellow make green? :)
@Mr Wizzykin :)
This reminds me of that old PC game Populous.
Goya Solidar Yes! Or (stylistically at least), there was an Amiga release called Power Monger, with a world 'game board'. Like wargaming.

Keep meaning to ask, where did you find those pictures behind you during the intro? They have changed a few times. Would love to get some!

Are you a Goodies fan, Dave?
He may not be but I am :-)
Heh, not really a fan... but I did watch a few back in the day on PBS.
Nice. Just after your 'goodie goodie, yum yum', I wondered.
@@heccubus1 spot on!
@@Peejay1966 I always enjoyed that title sequence.
