@geraldrakers4746 That’s amazing-54 years of marriage, congratulations! It must have been quite the experience meeting your wife at Golden Sands. Thanks for sharing that special memory!
Great video. It reminded me of a time when I was stationed in Okinawa and took a vacation to Thailand in 1974. I met a beautiful thai lady in a bar in Bangkok and we spent 2 glorious weeks together in Bangkok and Pattaya. Mukda reminded me of my beautiful thai lady I met and I wonder what ever became of her. After retiring in 2009 in the U.S. I came back to Thailand and married a wonderful thai lady with a heart of gold and a beautiful daughter who I saw grow up and blossom into a very intelligent and vibrant young lady. I am truly Blessed to have them in my life as I am living out the last chapters of my life in a country I love.
What an incredible lady,76 and still going strong. The changes she has seen over the years and stories she has must be amazing.Fair play for such a respectful interview Jonny, top lad.Next time I'm in Bangkok I'll definitely take a trip to TJ'S to say hello and buy her a drink or 2
Went to Thailand for one month holiday in 2003 and stayed for 9 years. Now I have been married to a Thai woman for 20 years and we have a wonderful 18 year old daughter. Best decision I ever made! Back in BKK next week after 12 years away! Love this channel! Will definitely visit TJ's.
@billmiller5741 Thanks so much! Mukda is truly wonderful, and we will definitely be meeting her again. Unfortunately, we were having some issues with her mic, so we had to wrap the video earlier than planned. But you’ll definitely hear more from her soon! 🙏
I've been waiting for this interview after your teaser from a few days ago. Well worth the wait and what a delightful lady. I hope you feature her a "regular" on your channel as you did magic man. Big heart Jonny, very good, very good.
Hey Jonny, this video gives you a lot of respect from all over the world. It’s different and kept you on the high rank of youtuber. Cheers from Canada.

Hey Jonny, your best interview of a nice lady, Mukda... When in Bangkok in a few months, I will stop and give Mukda a few baht... Thank you for the nice interview... 😊
What a Charming woman, she seen the bar industry actually changed over the years. she raised a child from an American GI (Soldier) and it looks like she lived a fairly happy life God bless her. If I was starting a bar in Thailand I'd want her to be the mamason . Because she seen everything the girls couldn't get away with crap
Thank you for the kind words, @onknight. She truly has an incredible story, and it's inspiring to see how she's navigated life with strength and grace. Appreciate your thoughtful comment-God bless!
Mate, you killed it right there, what an amazing bloke you really are, giving the old lady Dah your time, mate you didn't have to do that but you did, so much respect mate, sad to hear she is living in a small room up top of some place with an old friend after so many years, her story was amazing, she came from poverty but fell in love and had a baby, had to work to support the baby. Great job Jonny and hope you do a follow up to see how she gets on
Nice lady and good interview Jonny, but you have to do a follow up interview with the 51 year old half American half Thai daughter, she would have an interesting story to tell of growing up in Thailand for sure.
@rman5015 Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I’d love to meet Cake. We’ve been communicating on the LINE app, so hopefully she can make it to the next video as well. A follow-up interview with her sounds like a great idea!
