      @@abbeyverigin IMO that's 'beyond' a forever home. Yea I'd plant my ass there and never leave.

    I'm looking forward to see the onion comparison results. I think yours from seed will be bigger too. Great tip about the molasses! Seeing the flowers as you enter the garden will be beautiful. Great video as always.

    We have had rain for several days in Washington. I’m grateful for it and the garden seems to be enjoying it too! We’ve not experienced potato scab but it seems like a simple addition to the potato planting. My potatoes are all planted but I’ll be heading to my folks this weekend to put in their garden as much as possible. I’ll be planting potatoes for them so maybe I’ll give your tip a try. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Mary! I can't wait to get those all in the ground, we still have at least a few weeks before tomatoes and peppers

    Oh, wowww. That is one huge garden! You teach me something with each video, and I'm grateful. I've been doing a weekly 'reset' after following your fine channel and content, finally pulled out my canner to use and at 73, I'm taking on my first Sourdough starter! You are appreciated!

    Looking good Abby. Nothing like being self sufficient and knowing where your food comes from.

    It’s been a cold and very wet spring so far for us in NW England. We’re all hoping for some sunshine and warmer weather to get our gardens going. Thank you for your video.

    So nice to see you Abbey. It truly has been chilly in the lower mainland. We all get so eager to get things planted. I agree on the flowers. There truly isn't anything more beautiful and that will put a smile on your face. Amazing how many different things molasses is good for. I personally love to have it just on toast or a extra dab on a muffin. You and your husband work so hard. It truly is a labor of love. Even at my age I would treasure so have what you both have. Trying different ways of planting and planting new things that work or don't work. We learn everyday something new. Cheers

    How do you freeze your snow/snap peas? Do you blanch them first or just wash, dry & freeze?

    • @abbeyverigin
      @abbeyverigin  5 месяцев назад +1

      I do find they benefit for blanching for a minute before freezing

    I did the onion set vs seed last year and swore to never buy sets again because they did so poorly compared to the seed onions. I’m in northern PA so interested to see how yours do!
