Rook is a tank with the right pilot and perks. As well as using cover when the shield breaks until it comes back. Only real way to defeat a rook is with the choke. Other than that, the fields it's stomping grounds
I have a rook. It was my first Titan and still kicks ass as of 04-16-2024... I splat ochicohis... i slplat indras... i splat Luchadors my favorite because they march in thinking their hot shit. Lol its just like the chess piece, use it right, know when to run and when to brawl and this fucker is unstoppable... I like having all damage controllers or all onslaught reactors... Call me crazy but my weapons are dmg heavy too... I built it initally for dps. working so far.
Rook is not what it used to be. Against other older titans maybe it stands a chance but against the 3 new titans it is just a pinapple against a hatchet. It does not help that pixonic refuses to allow players to buy or win titan pilots. I have only recently noticed pilots for newton and rook are now on the blackmarket store but only after they have been nerfed.
