there is no specific default..by default it will be on DHCP, you will need an ip utility specific to the camera your looking for..3s cameras "camfinder" axis has one called "ip utility" . you would run that to see what ip the camera has pulled from you network..However, it does commonly grab an ip matching your network but the last set of numbers might be 220 most of the time if there is nothing else on your network with and ip like that..otherwise its gonna just find another available ip. i know this comment is 6 years old..lol, but if anyone reads this again like i just did, i hope this clears the question up
Hi Guy, My M3004V axis camera is flashing amber light. I did look in the axis website and shows " Discontinued product. Supported until 31/08/2021. How can fix this. Thanks and Cheers
hi i have 2 camera axis 207 .when i login webpage the camera does not show nothing its just the settings both cameras have same problem.i have install AXIS Device menager client and i saw in HTTPS says: unsupported device . to the both camera. is it possible to fix this problem ? thank you
How can connect camera without poe switch. I have lorex nvr and trying to connect but NVR doesn't see them even I switched to manual mode from Plug in Play by default Lorex cam. Thank you
no, it will only recognize axis cameras...use a software like Digiop or Milestone if you want to run different brand cameras on the same camera server.. Also, axis has an analog to ip encoder "looks like a network switch" that you can use different brand analog cameras on a camera server with an ip license on it along with IP cameras....

Check update, you do not need to do anything in advanced. Axis Camera Companion is now up to go, i promise.

I want to set it up using local storage on a pc, is it much different from setting it up for the sd card
