#1 rule when messing with fuel injection systems. Either bleed the pressure off with the Schrader valve on the fuel rail (some cars have them factory), or pull the fuel pump fuse while the engine is running and allow to die/relieve some of the pressure. It's very easy to spray your eyes with gasoline if you're not careful. And it burns like hell

Nice job on the pump. Yah those ribs on the pump will be fine. As long as the white poastic sleeve is on there with the oring, it will seal. 💪
