Whoever made this list was either high or didn’t get into Cornell and Colgate
Yeah exactly. Those are two unbelievably gorgeous campuses that easily beat half the ones on this list. George Washington University is another beautiful campus they missed. They got William & Mary and Notre Dame right, but many others on this list shouldn't be there. Elon, for example. That one made me laugh.
@@JB-zo7ln uc santa barbara too
No princeton? Yale at 18...or was it 17? Either way. Williams college too and bowdoin
Very, very true.... My guess is the list-maker is from the South and went to UVA or somewhere in the ACC or SEC.... no way Emory is top tier.
University of Phoenix Online - nothing is as beautiful as my living room
Every college campus now
Lol!
Online LOL total waste of money
Hahaha this guy
What about University of Phoenix Online?
Beauty is in the beholders eye
Thank you for putting UVA on the list!
Jack Pazin : Slave plantation...and overrated. I’ve been there. It’s not all that, and it certainly doesn’t touch the University of Washington.
Princeton, Cornell, Oberlin, Wellesley, Michigan State U, Wabash, Cal at Berkeley, all have beautiful campuses.
Also, Pepperdine and UC Santa Cruz and University of Hawaii and University of Miami have a say on this list.
Very good video
Rhodes College and Sewanee definitely deserve to be on this list. Stunningly beautiful.
Okay, I think we all know Cornell is the most beautiful. You can’t put Harvard on this list but not Cornell. Harvard is maybe 20% as beautiful as Cornell.
Gina agree
Agreed. Cornell is beautiful
I visited Cornell this past July, you are right, absolutely stunning.
Honestly, Harvard has the least beautiful campus of the Ivies. I personally love Columbia.
Gina : University of Washington (Seattle) is #1, with Cornell, Stanford, Yale, Dartmouth, and Notre Dame not far behind.
You can argue any of those campuses as #1, but the UW-Seattle is just special. I’ve visited to 3/5ths of the schools on this list, plus some that SHOULD be listed.
UW-Seattle is urban but has an Ivy League feel, and at the same time offers green acres, water and Mountain views, and eclectic scenery that blends together nicely. Take a virtual tour.
Duke
Michigan
William & Mary
Yale
Brown
Notre Dame
Vanderbilt
Northwestern
U-Chicago
Emory
Wisconsin
Stanford
UCLA
Georgetown
U-Illinois
Columbia
Penn
Dartmouth
Lewis & Clark
All beautiful campuses, but none can touch UW.
Princeton, Berkeley, Cornell, Williams, Syracuse, and Pepperdine weren’t even listed but should have been.
UNC Chapel Hill, Wake Forest and some of the other schools listed don’t belong in the top-30. Sorry. 🤷🏽♂️
So awesome to see Virginia on here in multiple spots and two of my favorite colleges
Nice!
Cornell, Berkeley, Princeton, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Kenyon, Univ of Ohio (Athens)?
You mean Ohio University. There is no University of Ohio
I've been to some beautiful campuses: Virginia, Penn State, Cornell, Colgate, Georgetown, Sewanee, Duke, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Stanford, Northwestern, Penn State, Naval Academy, Pepperdine, UNC - Chapel Hill. Of the ones that I've visited, Duke was my favorite with that extraordinary gothic architecture and the beautiful landscape. Pepperdine is near the top not necessarily for the campus, but because of where it's located. Certainly the most stunning location to go to school in America along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
I agree. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, but whenever I visited Duke it was breathtaking. With that being said, Go Tar Heels! lol
California campuses over rated
Michigan and duke looks similar
You talk about Pepperdine landscape, Michigan Technology university in Northern Michigan is the same. Right on the Great Lake surrounded by mountains too. By the way Northwestern is nice with city landscape
ive been to rutgers princeton columbia suny stony brook rennselear polytechnic notre dame university of Florida florida state wash u st louis LSU ole miss miss state Alabama boston university and MIT
#30 - I agree. U of Chicago is my father's alma mater. #26 U MIch is my grad school alma mater. And while I love my school - especially for its great academics - there are only a few places on campus that are exceptionally beautiful: the Law Quad is certainly one of them. Many of its buildings are spectacular in size (especially its medical center). I'm surprised Cornell, UC Santa Cruz, and Salve Regina are not included. All three are exceptionally beautiful. And having a big football stadium does not make a school beautiful.
I love Michigan. It is not a particularly beautiful campus. I do like that they didn’t just populate the list with waterfront colleges. Having said this, Pepperdine isn’t on the list 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Baylor University campus is good too. But my favorite is Stanford. SMU has a very clean cut campus.
This is more of a university list, but I enjoyed it. Make a separate one for LACs...and Go 'Gate!
CU Boulder? Jk I know it’s your opinion. Great video!
Is cu boulder on the list?
Hey at least you were honest when you said it was just your opinion. They are all beautiful.
Cornell should be in top 5 ….it’s way more beautiful than you think….people just don’t think so because it’s in middle of nowhere….someone who has visited Cornell knows it’s real beauty❤️💛
Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. should be on that list!!
No Princeton? No Cornell? No App State? Hmmmm - not sure this would be my Top 30
Take a look at Rollins College in Winter Park Florida, it’s stunningly beautiful!
I am a Michigan and Cornell alum, and while I preferred my experience at Michigan, I have to say Cornell’s campus is prettier than Michigan’s. Michigan’s campus belongs among the top 30, but Cornell’s campus should be among the top 10.
Cornell is definitely top 10 in my estimation. I absolutely rank it higher than UVA, which has a beautiful campus but not #1. The person devising this list is probably a UVA alum.
Agreed. Cornell
Yes! Cornell.
I can attest to Wake being gorgeous, I truly left a piece of my heart there. Go Deacs!!
Here in Brazil, we have a terrible educational system. My congratulations for Americans. You built a great educational system.
Dalton Agrônomo I was under the impression has some top research institutions
No no the system is just corrupt beyond belief
Amigo não, eu pensava o mesmo mas depois de me mudar pra cá eu sei que só americano e rico consegue estudar aqui.
Apenas o ensino médio é melhor nos EUA, universidade nunca.
Auburn and Clemson are beautiful too.
Univ, Of Colo Boulder????
UCLA in West LA , Bev Hills , with view of Pacific . Hard to beat that.
I'm definitely NOT complaining because it clearly states that it's just the opinion of the author but I personally think that Berry College in Rome, Georgia has the most beautiful campus in the world. It's definitely the largest! Have a blessed day!
Well, the college that wins the award from the national grounds keeping association, year after year, is Holy Cross, in Massachusetts.
Good list. I'm located in Palo Alto, so I am partial to Stanford. However, I agree with some other commenters that a few worthy campuses are missing from this list. For instance, UC Santa Cruz offers amazing views of the Pacific in a fantastic historic coastal town. Washington & Lee is not far from #1 University of Virginia. However, the smaller campus is arguably more beautiful. Baylor offers a beautiful campus near downtown Waco. Texas A&M University-Kingsville is a public university that shares the similar Spanish Mission architecture of Stanford but in southern Texas ranch land. Colby College is located in a spectacularly beautiful part of Maine (especially in the fall, winter and spring). The College of William and Mary is another historic Virginia school with an amazing campus.
U OF MISS/OLE MISS IS UNDERRATED!!!
Didn't you ever visit West Point and see the majestic buildings, the grounds, the chapel, the statues with the backdrop of the Hudson River?
I agree.
The State University Of New York College @ Oswego definitely needs to be on this list.
You forget berkeley college stanford university Gorgia... You are amazing 💗 thank you for this presentation
Santa Clara University is also an extremely beautiful campus.
I have visited several of these college campuses. I would put the University of Montevallo campus ahead of several of those included in this video.
Uchicago should be top 5. Northwestern should be on the list too
unseen1231 Northwestern really nice
Yes, Northwestern University has a very lush campus right on Lake Michigan in a beautiful old (and rich) neighborhood. An Ivy League type atmosphere in the mid-west just north of Chicago.
My mother graduated with honors from Northwestern University and my brother-in-law received his master's and doctorate there.
@@lorik.6669 Yes Northwestern is really nice and a stylish university as is "Kalamazoo College" (oldest college in Michigan, which is a private college and trademarked as the Harvard of the midwest) and right next to it on its hills are "Western Michigan University" built on a former hilly golf course. Not far from Lake Michigan either yet near the beautiful downtown of Kalamazoo with heated street and sidewalks and brick roads. In fact Kalamazoo College has a brick road down the middle of the campus from the 1800's. Enjoy photos wmich.edu/facilities/planning/east-photos-trivia

any thoughts?
No disagreements, however Kalamazoo isn't Chicago.
Lori K. Oh did I say it was Chicago??? Better take English classes
GREAT : Best information for international students
No Cornell! It’s like naming the top baseball players and leaving out Babe Ruth. Do your homework!
Saint John's University, Collegeville, MN, should have been somewhere on this list. Check it out!!
A lot missing from this list.. but then again, beauty are in the eyes of the beholder.
Missed Berry College! and University of the South!
I totally agree Berry College should have been included in the list.
I'm so depressed, I joined the army out of Highschool. I'm 24 now and realizing how great an opportunity it would of been to have gone to college.
Don’t despair you’re still so young.Go when you get out
You can still go to college. I attend Willian and Mary online MBA program. A lot of the students are on active duty.
l would have put cornell in the top spot, easily .
Excelent
What?!!! No Pepperdine??? I had a view of the Pacific from my dorm room window - made it easy every morning to decide whether to go to class or go surfing!!! :D
pepoppins exactly !! I was about to comment Pepperdine
No different than Michigan Technology University
@Sudhir Kakar Why?
Sudhir Kakar yeah I heard that about Pepperdine
Pepperdine is a gorgeous school. California has many beautiful campuses though.
How could you not have Berry College on there? Dead Poets Society was filmed there. It is GORGEOUS!!
Everybody is complaining about which schools are not on this list., but the description clearly states that this is the author's personal favorite 30. If you can't accept that other people's personal preferences might be different from your own, then you really don't deserve to be at ANY college campus. None of my undergrad, nor my graduate school made this guys list, and I even have a very strong dislike of some of the campuses he chose; so somebody explain how that is supposed to somehow diminish my education or how much I still love my campus? If you want the right to choose your own favorites, then you must allow others that same right.
Greg Phillips The uploaded didn’t say these were his/her favorites. S/he said these were the Top 30 in his/her own opinion - his/her own assessment. More of an intellectual, rather than an emotional, decision.
Cornell? UVM? Bogus.
Greg Phillips Are you a freaking serious? The description does not say it's his personal favorite 30. Maybe you dont deserve to be on any college campus because you Cant fucking read; you should be put back in first grade. Also, since it's his opinions, people have right to disagree. Never learned about the first amendment? What a shame, get in line.
I miss college!
@@kevinjackson976 Cornell
I've been to several campuses that blow most of these away. Utah State University, UC Santa Cruz, and Montreat College, are three examples that are quite literally breath taking.
I just looked up Utah State it’s like like a high school campus you suck.
Ptoviding MOOCs of Seven Groups would help to cover costs including Maintenance and Renovation Costs of the Campuses
how is virginia tech and oregon not on the list?
Or West Virginia.
Jimmy wheaton : Great-looking campuses.
Jimmy wheaton - The University of Oregon does not belong on the list. I am quite familiar with it. Being in the most beautiful state doesn’t get them on the list.
My congratulations to the American people. You made a first class educational system.
I live in Brazil.
We have a first class college and university system. High school, middle school and elementary school? Not so much.
@@StevieM2 Yeah, I can agree that the US education system is far behind Finland's education system.
I can't believe Kansas is left off the list. Nothing more beautiful than standing on a tuna fish can and seeing the back of your head.
Army and the US naval academy.
The Pentacrest, central campus at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, is my favorite college scene. I'm sure the author has never been there or he would have included it.
U of Iowa, brings back memories. Beautiful. Even the stinky Ginko berries were pretty. 😊
Excellent!
When you pick a broad, subjective topic, you leave yourself open to widespread criticism. Princeton and Cornell are beautiful, and Pepperdine should be here somewhere. Northwestern is 10 times more picturesque than Michigan, but I suppose you can please more people picking UM. One of the nation's most gorgeous campuses is probably completely unfamiliar to you . Samford University in Birmingham is extraordinary.
How about West Point? Princeton? You’ve got Emory at number 3? Pleeeeeeze!
snowngeorgia West Point definitely should have made the list
You’ve gotta be kidding me! Ever visited Ithaca,ny? CORNELL? I didn’t think so...
The Citadel is very nice. Missed that one IMO
Yay UW!!! Seattle was such a great place to go to school
Yeah if you want to be a barista at Starbucks
Agree with Virginia, but Cornell should be high on the list. Colgate should be on the list too.
Cornell is #gorges
need more west coast. pepperdine, western washington university, and portland state.
You must have never seen the campus of Berry College.
Eston Alford that’s what I said! How could they not add Berry?!? Alum speaking here, so I’m biased.
1.cornell
2.Princeton
3.Duke
Putting UCLA on this list and not USC means you’ve never been to both campuses.
USC is just as beautiful as the Bruin’s campus, and filled with far more intimate character...
I haven't visited a whole lot of college campuses, so I'm no expert. I DID go to Cornell though and the U of North Carolina. I'm also familiar with Harvard, Lewis and Clark, Stanford and U. of Washington.
The Cornell Campus absolutely blows away all these others that I am familiar with. Its not even close. UNC at number 4? I went directly from Cornell to UNC in 1977 and was incredibly homesick for Ithaca, libe slope, Lake Cayuga, and the gorges. For Cornell to not to even make the list is astonishing.
And then Lewis and Clark? For years I lived in Portland and I know the campus well. It sits up on a hill and has a nice location looking east towards the Willamette R. But for grandeur, history, etc - it is just a small school, totally out of Cornell's league :)
Ken Aldrich : Cornell doesn’t blow away the University of Washington. It’s beautiful, but UW is better. It’s majestic and offers everything any of the other campuses offer.

I like the modern look more than castle look
No West Point what?Must have never been to the Hudson Valley.
David Wadsworth West Point has a beautiful campus. Just went with my 17 year old son back in Feb for a Campus tour and briefing
Colgate, Princeton, Brown, U of Richmond
Cornell most beautiful. Colgate, Middlebury, University of Vermont, Vasaar, Princeton, Dartmouth. I would've included just one of the Florida schools, and ditched Rice. Not saying Rice is not beautiful, but there are others far more, like the ones I listed. Just my opinion.
Dean Chapman agree ditch rice. I thought the same. May be Florida too
SMU campus is better looking than Rice IMO.
It's beautiful that they all look like castles...how far do you you wanna go in school?? I wanna go all the way ...feels better then winning the lottery 💙💜🎃
You forgot princepton Butler and cornel alone miss
University of Michigan (Go Blue!) is #26. 👍🏽👍🏽
What is this song called?
Boston College??
UVA's marketing team knows how to take really good pics cause honestly their campus looks grody irl
University of Notre Dame is so beautiful❤️❤️❤️ Wrapped around a lake, been there, very impressive!!!
Those are not lakes, they are muddy ponds.
Ernest Kovach it’s still one of the most beautiful campuses. Should be in the top 5.
Flat and bland.has a good ground crew though.
Jim Morgo have you been there?
Have you not seen the University of Colorado at Boulder or the University of Texas at Austin.
I ive in Austin, UT is cement city. If you are looking for an urban campus, UT Austin is a good fit. Austin itself is a great city, so that does make going t school in Austin a great experience.
Saint johns in mn is pretty cool
Princeton University has the most beautiful campus. How could it not even be on the list?
Hi guys! Why MIT is not on this list?
With the exception of Lewis and Clark, these are all large institutions. Perhaps a second review of smaller colleges is in order. They may not have substantial buildings but many have beautiful campuses.
These are just really well known colleges. Most of them look pretty similar to each other, as well as looking like many schools people haven't heard of. The college I graduated from has a small pond on campus.
My moms school Alcorn is beautiful
Oglethorpe, Berry, UGA, Auburn...
The Green Circle definitely Berry College should have been listed
very nice list, but my heart belongs to Dartmouth
Cool video but missed some obvious ones
Univ of Colorado - Boulder
Ohio University - Athens
Miami of Ohio - Oxford
Heck since this is made by someone in Oklahoma....Oklahoma State - Stillwater would be a contender.
Whoever made this list obviously refused to do their homework ! You give me no other option other than to fail you for your lack of effort !
Boulder cu-boulder is consistently ranked one of the most beautiful campuses with the most trees and a great view of the flatiron Foothills. And a great mix of very old buildings mixed with the new glass and steel buildings.🏟️🏫
Northwestern University in Evanston Chicago.has two lakes with a waterfall in between, a lake Michigan lakeside Park with trails and its own beach with watercraft.
Cornell university
New york
Agree. As well as Miami University is Ohio. Not sure what algorithm ranked them
Which Penn State campus are you showing?
Let me guess. You live in the southeast US.
Sewanee? Texas A&M?
I know it's subjective, but not having any mountain time zone colleges in there is a crime. Colorado-Boulder, Utah, U of Idaho, Carroll College, etc all could have been considered. Not to mention some of the incredibly beautiful old campuses out east mentioned by others is strange too.
Y’all never been to Wellesley and it shows. We’ve got our own private lake and we’re shrouded by the forest.
What about USC from Los Angeles??
Presumably whoever put this together has never seen The University of the South in Sewanee TN.
where??
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Santa Clara University is gorgeous.
