Going through many of your uploads. This, if I understand it correctly, was your first one. Astonished how good it was/is since you were a newbie. Really enjoy your style and clearness. Not to forget your humour. BTW you have a major part in convincing me of the boardgame solo-play. Not that I have forsaken my actual hobby since age 10 is tabletop wargaming (for 55 years now). Some of your play through episodes convinced me of dishing out some money. The "dealer of my trust" is rather happy. Bought and started playing Enemy Coast Ahead: Doolittle and Dambusters, Pavlov House, GMT's American Revolution Tri-Pack, Israeli Air Force Leader, Target for Tonight, The Hunters and a few I'm still waiting for. And ... oh ... yes, I finally pulled my B-17 Queen of the Skies solo-play off one of my top shelves and undusted it. Never played it in 35 (?) years. Love it. Great nostalgia, especially sonce I have started playing Target for Tonight too. BTW, you also convinced me tp sleeve the cards decks.
Love board games and a few years back I bought Alexander the Great Commander, S.P.Q.R. also '44 Memoir but I found all of them far to complicated to play so they have stayed in the shelf unused and unloved. I was seeking advice for a war game for a beginner and thought of Imperium Legends or Classics but the kind gentleman on the channel mentioned this game and here I am watching you playing it.......this is for me because I think I can manage to play it 😃 Well, I hope so! Thank you for your demonstration 👏👏👏 Kind regards from GB.
Hi apollonia and thanks for the comment. I'm sure you'll be fine with Warfighter - it's one of my favourites! Make sure you join the Warfighter Face Book page, as they are very helpful. Regards from a fellow Brit. :-)
Hello, Eunice was attacking our Island and I was on the internet ( surprised it was working ) trying to find a shop that has the game in stock without any luck. Now Sky isn't working and I am going to play against Kasparov on electronic chess .....well, better than watching dad news. Will try looking again. I also want Maquus but only the expansion is available....typical ! Thank your so much for your help. Keep safe and kind regards.

I really like this game... it can be brutally hard sometimes. You definitely will not win on accident! My one gripe is that the board is too small. On missions with 4 or less locations I still use the board but leave a space between locations so there are two columns for enemies. On the longer missions I just set it up without the board. Maybe If I was better player I wouldn’t have to worry about the enemies piling up :-). Enjoying your plays of this!
i always thought it'd be cool to play war board games, but never had anyone to regularly play with so i never looked in to it. just yesterday i found out there are games you can play SOLO. so i've ordered this one and the DVG zombie game. now i'm watching through youtube videos and dying because none of it will be here for 3 days (according to the shipping i paid $10 extra for).
Be patient Chris - have you tried the second hand market? My advice is to just get the base game to start (there's plenty in the box to keep you busy!) :)
Hi Suvorov928, when you fire the machine gun you have a choice between semi (1 dice/1 possible hit) and auto (3 dice/1 possible hit). That means there is a higher chance of scoring a hit with auto but a higher chance of a reload. When you deploy the bipod (use 1 action), auto turns into spray (3 dice/3 possible hits). Still a high chance of reload, though! Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer Yeah, after I typed that, I actually played a scenario last night and saw the machine gun card and was reminded what the bipod does. As one of your first subscribers, I hope you continue to pay videos of more playthroughs of great games.

where did you get the card holders?

Thank you so much for that kind comment and pleased you are buying games that I've videoed! Sleeving cards is a must for me (keeps 'em nice!).

OK. I'll join. I like your crisp, clear pronunciation. Can't do anything about he accent though!
Hi Dennis, thanks for the kind comment - and no, I can't do anything about the accent! Lol

Well done, i really enjoy this game one of my favs.
Thanks, JK WARGAMES - yes it is a good 'un!
did you order warfighter north africa and med ? if so what will come soon here?
Hi Kurt. I'm afraid I didn't order those.
@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer okay not a problem ,) i think you have a lot of other games to play
Its very hard to see action with cards, i have the game but unopened... but u seem to like it... thank you.
Hi Al Mol - thank you for the comment. Give the game a go, it's one of my favourites!
This game looks so awesome. I'm going to try to learn it when I have managed to learn and play some easier games.
Hi - it's a great game and is not that difficult but just start off with the core game, leave the expansions until you get the hang of it.
Thanks. Subscribed!
Thanks so much! Love the show!
What are those card holders you're using? I like them.
@C Anderson I got them from Amazon (Brimtoy BT390809-4m 4 x Large Wooden Playing Card Holders)

Did you get Dawn of the Zeds third edition?
sadly so many expansions are out out print and the base game is mostly out of print also. Wish they were not I would play it

Jason, I'm expecting a copy of the base game (Warfighter WW2) tomorrow from Second Chance Games (UK). Great service and reasonable prices.
i was able to get the base game from amazon today for $46. there were others for the same price, too. might be worth checking.
