Never apologise for showing the real basics, I'm definitely one of your target audiences, never having been under a car in my life and your videos are really giving me confidence to have a look / play myself, thanks :) Any chance you could do a quick vid on how to give the stepper motor contacts a clean / possible replace it ... looks easy to do, but never know if turning the right bolt / part or just about to break something important in the tiv lol.
Hi Bradley - get ready for a permanent grin. They are RL7's from a rally escort - 17" all round. They are like hens teeth now. Bola do some nice spider replicas . You need 4 x 108 with an ET of 25 at the from and 33 at the back. These RL7s were ET 35 so they are ok at the back but I have 10mm hub centric spacers on the front and I fitted longer wheel studs too ( they just push out). Please subscribe if you havent already
I got mine off Ebay - the exact one isnt for sale atm but if you search for "COB H4" you will get lots of similar results they are usually around £20-30 a set of 2
Good vid mate. I've not been in there, doesn't look too scary. How are they at night then? I rarely drive mine at night anyway, as with many owners it's a toy mainly. Is the pattern okay?
they are great but I recently learned that some (most) MOT testers will fail them so next project is to replace the f/glass covers with boat hatches for easy access to put them back to halogens for the MOT then back to LED sfterwards
@@SNORKYMEDIA Good plan, Stan. My last MOT was very cursory, perhaps because my Chim is quite good all round (I clean the chassis every winter with rags and only use in summer) or that garage is busy. Didn't do brakes, emissions, headlamp patterns, naughty but I'm not complaining though. Keep up the good work.

I certainly can Cliff - stepper is a real easy and common job. Thanks for the nice comment and look out for the stepper video soon.
Hey there! Loving the vids so far! I'm getting a chim this week so I'm watching your videos!
What wheels are those? They look great!

Snorky - another great video. May we please have a link to where you purchased these exact units from?
