    I think the real issue for India has been Rohit and Kohli not making any runs. The reason Aus could drop Agar in that series was because they had actual batsman. Our two seniormost batsmen are so low on runs that we cannot afford to drop Nitish. He has been the highest scorer for us in way too many innings.

    if we just wait for a second and say that NKR is playing as a batsman who can give you a few overs then suddenly he isn't the one posing any problems for india. maybe the biggest problem there is of his batting order(but that is a nitpick).yeah there are problems with India's bowling but he isn't the one causing them that is an issue of bowlers other than bumrah not taking any wickets and underutilization of 4th and 5th bowlers.

      What Jarrod and sanjay mean is if Indian management believes all other batters coming in before are better than Nitish then you have to drop nitish to make way for a bowler. Obviously a simple alternative is to make him bat in top 6 and pick a bowler in place of a batsman but the question is who do you drop?

    • @ಭಾರತೀಯ_ನಾಗರಿಕ
      @ಭಾರತೀಯ_ನಾಗರಿಕ 24 дня назад +1

      @@AmanSaini-cd8jv So far the Indian management has not dropped Nitish to "make way for a bowler"
      So it seems like the management has faith in the ability of Nitish as a 4th/5th bowler as well.
      And all of the top 6 are accomplished batsmen in their own respect, and experienced ones (except Jaiswal). So obviously all others coming before Nitish are better than Nitish (including Jadeja)

    There is this weird notion that he is actually a bowling allrounder who can hit out ala Pant. Maybe that is because SRH play that all out aggressive cricket. Till now he does not look anywhere near an allrounder. His bowling seems fine. Maybe with defensive fields he can become a holding bowler, but right now he is perhaps better off being considered a batting all-rounder.

    Jarrod, but don’t you think he should be playing at 4/5/6 though? I’ve felt like he’s running out of partners every game when he comes in at 8 and then he has to slog to make whatever he can. If he batted at least 2-3 positions up I think he could’ve even been top run scorer in this tour. He’s about 120 runs behind Head and I don’t think it’s far fetched that he would’ve scored at least 100 runs more in the 6 innings before today.

India doesn't have 3 good fast bowlers just imagine India having bumrah shami and ishant as main bowlers.if you look at nitish now you might think this is a dream bowling lineup for a team. But right now akashdeep doesn't have depth of skills but he is not experienced he bowls good but he is not shami. If you ask me about siraj I have never seen an Indian bowler bowls without a purpose or aim since 2013 Australian tour. I don't even know what he is trying to do whether he wants control the game by stopping runs and bowling very controlled and defensive lines like boland Or he is trying to take wickets. He is not at all bowling full enough to take wickets but he is spraying gentle short deliveries every now and then and he is going around 4 economy in this series. To be fair, he isn't a number 8. For his home side, he's a number four or close in almost every circumstance, and even for SRH he's come out at like 4 or 5 max. He's a batter who can bowl a bit. But he's in no sense a bowler. That's why it was odd seeing Washi and NKR both down there, because neither are necessarily lower order batters, Jadeja is less of a batter than they are for their respective home sides, to my knowledge at least.

    NKR is long term but A lot of players would be a great no 6/7/8 in today’s game. Like smith said it’s easier to bat after 30 ovrs. Jadeja, Carey all have flourished. Send Gill to 7 tomorrow & get a ton

      Easier said than done with the form they are in. Pant, Rohit are/were at that No. 5, 6. They didn't capitalize on their chances so far. It's a hypothetical till they do it.
      NKR is the one who's had starts all along and finally found a partner to stick around and make that ton. Give credit where it's due.

      @ I said nkr is long term, taking nothing away from him but he has now followed that ton with two ducks coming in to bat at tough times. And, when did pant not take his chances at 5/6, he is best itw there after travis.
      It’s just fact what smith said, look at poor Khawaja. He is technically so correct and yet can’t show anything for a year, hasn’t been dismissed once playing wrong just that it’s too difficult inside 30 overs

    I think that Web3 Infinity's long-term viability has promise. Investment considerations should be provided.
