Cixin Liu is such a smart writer. I haven't gotten to Three-Body Problem yet but I did read Wandering Earth and a few of her other short stories. I'm convinced that if the world were facing catastrophic destruction, all the ideas we need to survive are in her works lol.
I honestly listened to the stories across 2 or 3 free audiobook productions. One came in 2 parts and was really over the top, intentionally comedic, and likely oversexualized. It rubbed some people the wrong way in the reviews. That one says the production was by Marty Ross on audible but I didn't catch the translation. Could be wildly inaccurate. The other was more straight forward and edited by Kate Wiggin and Nora Smith.
