You gotta really like this kid- whether he wins world title or not, I hope he goes on to do whatever he wants to and enjoys life. very mature for his age.
Got a cool, calm head already for a 19 year old. He looks like hes got what it takes inside and outside of the ring. Saturday is a big test for a 19 year old though 👀
These crazy intense sparring sessions in UK gyms is seriously bad for boxers longevity and general well being. Listen to Bivol, Canelo, Usyk etc etc they specifically use sparring to practice certain tactics and don't turn them into wars. Listen to those guys and then look at their careers.
A demolition job coming from Tyson fury his a good man really and does not normally like to really hurt other fighters tho has no choice in these fight
This guy is the most dynamic heavyweight I've seen in years, and the only thing I see being a problem is his punch resistance, because he's been heavy sparring world champions like Joshua, Fury, Dubois, Okolie etc since he was 15, and surely that can't be good for longevity? Okolie said his spars ( when Moses was 15) were his most brutal ever, and Shane Mcguigan said his spars with Dubois were full on wars. That ain't good, and because of this, nowadays UFC and many MMA fighters don't even spar at all, because it can take years off careers.
This could be true. We could also look at it the opposite way around though - maybe the sparring with the likes of Fury, Joshua, Dubois etc speaks about how good his punch resistance is!? Personally, I think they need to pace his career sensibly as he is really young and is about 5 years away from his prime years. Fortunately, all the top HW's like Fury, Joshua, Parker, Zhang, Wilder, Usyk are approaching retirement within the next 12-24 months. He will have his work cut a bit as the next crop of HW's are, Richard Torrez Jnr, Jalolov, Fabio Wardley, Agit Kabayel, Dubois, Martin Bakole, Jared Anderson. I feel like Moses has a very good chance of becoming Heavyweight champion by 2026 or 2027
Hard to believe he's only 19. I hope Dempsey can at least take him to 4 rds. We will see where Itauma is after this fight is said and done! My only fear is, I'm, not sure he's training in the right place.
His first test will come when he fights someone in the top 12-15. All these are just fights to gain experience but not real tests. By now, he should be looking at someone like a Chisora or Miller or Hunter or Sanchez or Ajagba.
@@joffreymanborg7024 As much as I like Johnny Fisher, there's levels and levels between those 2 guys & Itauma would school and stop him in 4 rounds max
Hahahaha have you seen fishers foot work, he looks like a big oaf, absolutely awful, he just has ABIT of power and that's it, fisher is a bum who's being protected by Eddie hearn
Get away from AJ and Ben. Their arrogance will take you down.
I bet that's one of the things Fury told him
Funnily enough, he has a detectable AJ influence in the way he speaks. The aloofness and timing between words is almost identical.
Don't think so 😂@cutlerlon8468
@cutlerlon8468Media trained
@cutlerlon8468 Nigerian influence.
He should get sugar Hill as his trainer
Why? He isn't a god of training.

How? He’s arrogant and he’s a moron.
He's 19 Jesus fair play
You forget my guy is 19 he's so assured and accomplished already
I think Moses Itauma comes across really well
He doesn't seem to be convinced that fury can win this rematch.
That’s exactly the impression I got
Thanks for posting this interview! Is the DBC preview of the fight accurate?!

He knows Usyk is beating Fury...but he needs that sparring next time lol

He don’t get hit often believe me 👍
The word is "several"

Gym wars will slow him down though and bring serious injuries. Not good.
@ Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.
1.5 speed was necessary
No it ain't
@peternagy-im4be bet you're fun at parties 🎉🎉
It is with this sloth oaf
Several rounds
Moses needs a massive fight
I think this young guy is in for a bit of a shock at least i hope so to see what his stamina is

Jeez he's not even 20. Build ups take years at HW division. Loads to learn and plenty of tough opponents out there.
He's sparring with Fury and other champions he's ready
You have to play this video at 2x speed
cause ur brain is cooked by tiktok and cant stand not listening to someone talking super fast
@@user3838-c7f are you alright?
