Independent samples t-test, Levene’s test, effect size, and normality in RStudio / R

  • In this video, I have discussed how to run t test in RStudio. In addition, I have shown how to check the assumptions of t test, i.e., Levene’s test of equality of variances, effect size (Cohen's d & Hedge's g), and univariate normality (skewness and kurtosis).
    The following link provide you with more information about interpreting the output and getting access to the RStudio code used in this demonstration.

    This video was very helpful for learning how to do a t-test in R with gender as the independent variable. After spending so many hours on the web trying to find a presentation that worked, I found this video. Thanks very much.
