I also watch Danooct1 (The nerd who puts old viruses, malware, and viewer made malware to the test), he's cool too.
Nashee Justice I hope you"re wrong about being the only one. Good content is good content, and should be enjoyed by _anyone_ that finds it interesting, regardless of age/sex/race. More power to you for shrugging-off peer pressure and pursuing what you genuinely like. You could do a whole lot worse than technology-oriented content that actually makes you smarter. BTW, if you're interested is going a little deeper down that path, I recommend checking-out Big Clive. His videos are a bit more technically-oriented and less polished, but still plenty interesting, entertaining and accessible. And his voice...sooo soothing. Plus, he's even done a couple songs over the years.

That walk and running scene lmao! Love this guy, keep it up!
the park running was full on alan partridge 🙂
jogging in jeans, too hard core for me
Best thing I've watched on youtube in a long time.
256k or he takes it to Sky!
I was going to write the same!
It's really nice the opening of your show. It's like i'm back to late 80's.
David, thank you very much for all your videos. Part of my Day is to watch (and watch again) one of your episodes and always surprise me with the quality of information you share for those of us who collect computers on the other side of the world too!
sous-vide = "soo veed"
2:10 - 2:26 (for reference)
LOL came to say la meme chose
9:30 geek walk and run, I do walk like this too sometimes.
Shoot. If people need a C64 repaired send them to me. Btw, I don’t think most people understand how busy you are. You are running your own business, preparing for seminars and who knows what else. Thank you for the videos.
8bit guy runs like a Chad
Loved seeing "The Pirate Planet" on your TV. I recently watched that Doctor Who episode with my kids. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Thank you so much for this insight, David. I can't believe I have only just stumbled over it! Love your work - you and Techmoan are my favourite channels. Keep up the great work!
Congrats on the self-employed life! Everyone wants to be self-employed doing what they love but when it becomes a reality, they soon realize it's actually a lot more work than anticipated. However, you seem to be doing fine and I commend you for this video demonstrating your daily routine. Please keep making the awesome video content! You will find it's easier to balance the workload and real life commitments the more you do it and the better you get at it.
If he does not have time to do all those requests, then maybe it's time for him to start "8 Bit Enterprises," get an office, and hire some workers to do repairs, make copies of manuals, and EEPROMS, etc. for a fee.
This is a pretty cool cat video, but all this stuff about vintage games and stuff kind of gets in the way of teh kitteh footage.
I think the cats deserve a spin-off show, how 'bout the 9-lives Guy?
"teh kitteh"
Cringeeeee
Connor Fin r/woooosh
Isn't it funny how things scale with size? When a house cat bites your hand you go "awww you're fearsome you little rascal".
But when a cougar does the same you'll prbly fight for your life.
LOL
Thank you Dave for your work. I enjoy your video's I wouldn't want to store all the old stuff but your channel is a museum I enjoy visiting.
You have the ugliest desk ever. It screams Win95. Watching your channel is like time travelling 20 years in the past, and getting in touch with my younger tech-excited self. Dude, you rock!!
Really? I think it looks pretty nice.
Tigrre Ampluch he built the desk himself.
Don't know whether to upvote or downvote. Please advise.
You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.
I hope you realize that you are one of the only good e-celebs. Really, there are maybe 5 other people besides yourself who regularly make good videos in this field. THANKS from the bottom of my heart

...i highly doubt it
I know that 2 of the other 5 people are Ben Heck and Metal Jesus! :)
protossevolution AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
LGR is lit
whos giving him money? not me...
Ive never seen one of those t-shirt folders always wondered how stores get them so perfect.
He Has Done More Things In A Day Than I Would In A Year. Dang.
The Good: Watching Red Dwarf
The Bad: The Mrs. did NOT look to happy......
Oh man, 2 days folding t-shirts, I'd be looking around the neighborhood until I spotted a solution. "Hey! Lawn mowing kid, wanna fold some t-shirts? It's scorching Texas sunless money"
Dude you're awesome, that manual scanning may really help out
You really need to check TheC64 mini! You will not believe your eyes!
Guts Puck ten million fireflies :^)
I watch your videos nearly every day. Thanks so much for sharing your unique and pleasant perspective of tech.
Your posture is worrisome. I know how it is to work a lot on the computer. Take care!
Ehh.. I've had that posture since I was a kid. I doubt it is going to change.
13:37 length
leet
stop plez
special video requires special length!
Well that explains why the video is so special. s0 l33t.
Is that in centimeters?
Kinda personal but thanks for letting us know.
I appreciate this video. It is nice to know how hard people work behind the scenes of the camera. Love the fact that you are coding in Assembly. A long lost art form!
9:25 Starts leaving the crime scene.
Your comment 😂
Congratulations on the 200th! Thanks for all of the great videos and content. I've been watching for channel for the past 5 years.
Watching you jog in the park is one of the greatest gifts on RUclips.
200th episode apperantly is 13:37 long. this is gonna be epic
I like this guy 👍
I think you could sum up this whole video with "if it fits with my mission statement [preserving computer history], I'll try my best". He's not a repair shop. He's not an e-friend. He's a video museum.
jogging scene is the most unnatural thing what I have ever seen :D . Feels like smby forced you to do :D
I think that I am the only 16 year old African American female that watches and enjoy your interesting videos! My friends make fun of me for watching your videos or listening to your tunes in the cafeteria but who cares!
P.S. Congrats on your accomplishment!!!👾👾👾
Go check out the others of the bunch, too! LGR (Lazy Game Reviews), Techmoan, Modern Vintage Gamer, Technology Connections, Gamesack, Nostalgia Nerd, PushingUpRoses, My Life in Gaming... Anyway - its good to see young people being interested in old and obscure tech and chiptunes!
@Any Name Hi and thanks for noticing! I am a fan of LGR already and I love his reviews and histories on old tech! The other channels that you've mentioned, I will check them out! They sound INTERESTING!!!! I also watch some modern tech channels like Linus Tech tips and his related channels. I also watch Danooct1 (The nerd who puts old viruses, malware, and viewer made malware to the test), he's cool too.
Don't forget RetroManCave!
And what about Metaljesusrocks
Nashee Justice
I hope you"re wrong about being the only one.
I've been seeing this thumbnail for 5 years now and I figured I was finally ready to experience the scene from the thumbnail, but was unexpectedly taken away by the jogging scene. 10/10
"I end up working pretty much every day... editing a video or working on game code"
Sounds like a dream job to me:)
Idk, doing the same things, no matter what, becomes a chore after a while.
It may be a dream job, but make sure you got life outside of it :)
Can I be your neighbor? I love the same television shows, and you could store your overflow donations in my attic :)
Maybe you already are, and you didn't realize it
Kent VanderVelden Does the post truck stop at your next door neighbours house everyday?
Do you see computer parts wrapped in plastic sometimes?
Do you see a guy jogging in jeans around your neighborhood?
Do you happy when he is
I love your videos they are very informative and I get a kick out of them. They make me feel nostalgic for how technology was back in the day. I regret not getting into computers at an earlier age but they were just so expensive not knowing who to hangout with at the time hurt too. But keep up the great work and I'll keep watching your posts.
I always come back to see him run in jeans. It looks like he just did a hit and run
Got a lot of stuffy head / coughing here as well. Love this Texas back and forth weather :) Thanks for posting this! Great to see soundtracks are still selling!
Hey, Alexander Brandon! Your soundtrack to Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is forever etched in my mind as a wonderful childhood memory and I want to say thank you.
Have you seen Omri Lahav's covers? I think they're great!

Sorry if you already get 200 emails a day about this.
"Some of this people are offering to pay and some of these people are just thinking that I'll do it out of the goodness of my heart..." *small, but hearty laugh* LOL, God bless you, 8-bit Guy!
Cats bite as a sign of affection.. obviously your kitty loves you!
I read its them gauging whether they can eat you when you die.
My cats bite me _all the time!_
That cat mouse pad was one of my sons first pads he ever used after i built his machine ! It's long gone by now but cool to see it again !! :)
Not sure if I've ever commented on your videos, David. But I thought that I needed to really to say how much I love your channel and all the enthusiasm you show for all these techs. You're down to earth and gets to the point. Every time you upload - I know it's going to be interesting and worth watching. Love restoration of old computers and stuff.
10:15 he loves his cat. I can tell because he does that voice.
he's into animals just saw a video where he cuddled a chicken. he's cool.
9:37 cue "the final countdown" :D
You've just got my respect and admiration. Keep up the good work.
The strange thing is 90% of videos on RUclips, I just "skim view" through, not because they aren't interesting or not relevant to me but I have a short attention span and doesn't take a lot to distract me . . . but in here I'm always compelled to watch whole videos from beginning to end.
PS: +1 for showing your cats. :-D
You look like your wife
The Sanctuary RUclips Channel that’s a nice comment really appreciate it
Thought it was his sister.
@Mendozer01 yeah we do.😂😂😂
