you need to well a new section to the upper body to keep the rigidity of the car, a centered brace from left to right, right underneath the new CF roof...
sickkk! i wanna do this for my 1989 Z32 dlicktop twin turbo. but no one makes the roof skin. ima have to make a mold. might wanna sell them once done for all the fn work involved. but damn thais looks sick!!

Is there no middle support under the roof

Yes there should be a roof bow installed when doing this on a sunroof model. Slick tops will already have the bow welded in obviously.

what was the point of installing a carbon roof for weight savings if you just throw a bunch of sound dead-weight to it?
Still saving a lot of weight because of the sunroof , plus it looks cool
