But in anime they def managed to capture his aura at a satisfactory level. You can see more comments like mine. People are worried if the adaptation will do justice. Plus this is Thai adaptation. Usually the same country as of manga's origin is preferred. Very rarely a foreign race adaptation wins. Because the language and culture in mangas/manhuas/manhwa/DC comics embody their own culture and people. I have to say I would look forward to the Japanese version more than this. The Japanese are known for performances that are faithful to the manga. Adaptations of a foreign content is always risky. For example love in the air Japan version tanked severely. It's OG Thai version took off. Same with Addicted Chinese series. It has a Thai adaptation and most ppl don't care about it. Junta role is complex. He is Jack of all trades and master of them all as well. The series need to embody his deep love for Takato saijo as well. I don't think this Thai adaptation can do that. I am not saying Thai actors are incapable of it. We had Vegas in KP. But many times the foreign adaptation doesn't go well. Plus ppl are used to that race's looks and language in the manga/anime. So the Thai adaptation needs to be so good they need to overcome all this. For example boys over flowers is actually Japanese. Hana Yori Dango. But the Korean version surpassed the Japanese version. It's actually a rare scenario. Looking at this trailer...I don't feel Junta. The role of Takato is sightly easier than Junta's.
Yeah... I don't think that SMART Chisanupong is fit to play JUNTA at all... but we will have to see what changes they made for the Series adaptation. From this teaser it looks like BOOM Raweewit (as TAKATO) will take the lead in all possible ways, seducing the younger uprising actor, and not the other way around as the manga and the anime. 😏 Cheers...!

That is my baby Boom Raweewit at 0:35 ...! 😲🤗😍 After his three other BL Series projects failed (Heart by Heart; The Sweet Robot and End Love) finally in a Boys Love lead role again...!! 🤩 This is AWESOME...! If there is a Thai actor who can change in one scene from being totally ruthless into the sweetest guy from the entire planet, that is Boom Raweewit. That fascinated me since I saw him for the first time in "Bad Romance" back in 2016 as TANGUY. There he was able to do anything for the guy he loved. He was AWESOME in "My Dream The Series" (2018), portraying a young doctor who lost his loved one in an accident, and was having a hard time looking after an elf guy who was able to take the shape of his death loved one, with a great mix of melancholic and caring spirit. He was EXCELLENT in "Chains Of Hearts" (2023), portraying such a complicated triple role character (DIN - CHENG - TALIN), with a lot of action scenes, with a heartbreaking love intensity, and a strong sense of responsibility. That was a really strong character. This time BOOM (as TAKATO) is to play also many different characters in this Thai Series version of the famous Japanese manga and anime "Dakaichi: I'm Being Harassed By the Sexiest Man of the Year"... a Boys Love story between two actors. It is very interesting having Thai actor SMART Chisanupong in the role of JUNTA, the much younger actor shaking the famous superstar TAKATO, not only professionally, but also romantically. Even if SMART does not match JUNTA's physical body shape in the manga and the anime we will have to see if he is able to become the "evil angel" that the character is to be. OR there is a different approach for the Series characterizations, with reversed roles, for example, something that could make more sense. Well... Looking forward to the Pilot Trailer for this Series. We may get a few more insides from there. Cheers...!
This is definitely an interesting ship, two boys who I thought I wouldn't see as much anymore but now they are here and they are here together. I loved Smart's acting in DSN and I thought Boom was so handsome and charming in 'Chains of Heart' 🎉 I feel like im in the minority of people who have read the source material so 🙏 I'm hoping this show will deliver. Hope to see this soon plsss.
