- I thought I come from a small town but even Sierra Madre surprised me with its charm. I say hi to the same people at the same time on their morning walks. Everybody knows everybody which has helped me get business despite limited foot traffic.
Mail me your knives to get sharpened! www.laknifesha...

It would be fun to see the performance before and after you've sharpened the knives
well if my knife is dull , it takes me about 15 min-20min to clean a whole salmon and portion it, after i sharpen it with steve i would say it takes me about 10 min, it really makes a big difference
A handsome man sharpening knives. You must get a lot of girls
Lots of milfs I’m sure 😂
I would love to learn how to do this. All the equipment and the steps involved.
Something about watching a knife get sharpened. Will keep watching for sure.
What grit belts are on your three machines.
Great videos. Your videos are fun to watch. I sharpen knives for fun and find it quite relaxing
Keep up the good work
I just got a WorkSharp Ken Onion Elite MK2, but after watching this video I got me some serious “grinder envy”
Oh man I could sit and talk knives with you for hours. I have purchased the Tormek 8, Wicked Edge pro and numerous other knife sharpening systems but I still can't get that perfect angle I'm looking for. I'm 56 and a retired disabled vet so I do this not only because I love knives but I'd like to do exactly what your doing but don't have the skill set that customers deserve yet. I'd love the opportunity to ask you a few questions if you wouldn't mind one day. Thank you and fantastic work. Take care.
Tormeks have knife jigs
I’ll have to try visiting this spot sometime.
Steven. Nice video. I remember the one you did after you got your first Kalamazoo. Loved it! You got more of them (Kalamazoo's). Great! Did they do a custom one for you on that 2 inch belt? very nice setup. I was looking for some trays for knives. Do you mind sharing where I might pick some up? Keep up the great work.
love these contents alot!!! keep it up, i really appreciate it!
You inspire me to start my own sharpening business!!
Its hard to get the volume to do it full time.
Are you handsome like the man?
Love your videos. Keep it up!!!!
Wrap those knives!!!!!
keep up the good work.
maybe show edge quality at the end of the sharpaning process. on a paper, vegi or something
Do you vary your sharpening angle on different batches of knives? For example, might you sharpen higher quality, harder steel knives at a more acute angle and lower quality ones at a more obtuse angle. Another example might be your angle choice relative to the last sharpening job, do you try to mimic the angle that was used last time around? (Your videos are great. Much appreciated.)
Hi Steven, can you please share info about the leg extensions on your sharpening table? i.e. Size, material, length, source, etc.
Thank you.
here from TikTok and in this video the kindness of people and their happiness makes me so emotional I love it.
How often do you need to change out your belts? You have 3 belt grinders with progressive grits?
Hello Steven,
I really enjoy your videos and i wanted to ask if you had some schooling on sharpening or did it just come natural.
I see that you know your knives and definitely know how to sharpen them.
I’m getting started sharpening and I was just wondering if you suggest to attend a school.
Hello Steven I am a new sharpener/knife restoration guy 😂 and I would love to spend a few minutes picking your brain and having some questions and banter with you. I don’t know that you would be interested in such a thing but I’d be really happy if you would! No pressure! 😂 I mostly am freehand centric but the more I watch of your channel I see the amount of knowledge you have for all of the knife industry so I would really love to have a chat. I don’t have a way to contact you other than this or through your business. Keep up the vids and if you wanted more content ideas I love watching the restoration of the beat up knives with rust and crust and pits that turn into shiny sharp knives !! Maybe reply to me here if you are at all interested in such a chat!
Hi, where do you get your scotchbrite wheels and also your plastic containers that you put your orders in? Thank you.
What type of coverall shirt are you wearing?
What grits are you using? Can you show me how to sharpen
where did you get the belt sander setup for your grinder?
Isn’t this the town that Joe and Love moved to in the Netflix show YOU?
Where did you get the 2 x 48? Great video!
How do I go about sending you things to sharpen?
Hi mate, are you the same guy who appears in a video from Peter in his PG channel about 2 years ago?
Do you pay someone for the electricity?
Hi Steven Sharpens wanted to sharpen my knife at home but do I need a mask like you just new to sharpening knives thanks for any reply
For home sharpening id use whetstones.
A lot of good Tutorials on youtube
The mask is necessary because he sharpens with belts all day long.
@@bigboi9611 thank for replying I was only asking as Iam using a tungsten carbide sharpener and bits come off.

#1 supporter in the world 🫶
There is always an a$$hole in a hurry 😅

Dude I saw your vids on tik Tok. Love the vids
Couldn’t recommend a better knife sharpener !
Very nice job. What scotch brite wheel did you use for scallop knife?
Should've taken the sandwich offer!
May i ask what size HP are you Kalamazoo machines? nice video!
Do you like bubba blade knives?
Please show more videos
3:09 isn't that PG in Pasadena? Didn't he interview you on his YT channel when you were just starting out? So you actually know him pretty well. Do you feel frustrated with the business that you have to upload these comments about him? Or is this business not as profitable as you thought it might be for all the work and effort you have to put into it, the tools and belts you have to buy? That maybe it's more a retirement type business to bring in a little extra cash and have something to do?
Could I buy you a sandwich? 🥺🥺
Cartel needs to bring their knives and axes to this guy
