I’ve been trying to limit my digital and phone photos and shoot purely film photos for sort of the same reason you described. The imperfection is perfect for me.
It is so satisfying seeing the imperfections in film. It makes it feel like a moment captured in time, rather than just a picture. Thanks for the comment!
The large format would suit you. Analog photography is beautiful and the look of your images is dramatically beautiful. A great new format. Please make this more intense.
Amazing photos!!! I have a rebel g myself and am still learning how to get some great shots. Are any of the photos over or under exposed? And did you shoot auto or manual? Last question I promise lol, did you do any editing after having them developed and scanned? Thanks in advance! Just subscribed :)
Thanks! I shot all of these photos using the Aperture Priority mode on the Rebel G! I typically will do minor adjustments to the exposure, shadows and highlights in Lightroom after receiving my scans, but nothing major!
How times have changed, I spent a year travelling around New Zealand back in 2004/05 and all I shot was film :) I met a few people with one of those new-fangled “digital” cameras but I didn’t know what the hell they were all about
Amazing video Steele. I love you. 💕
Thanks for watching!
Love the mustache… and the film photos 👌🏻
You inspired me 😎 Thank you brother 🙌🏻
Thanks, Steele! Love your photos.
Thanks so much!!
