After Prophet Adam was created as a human, Allah SWT. also completed his happiness by creating a woman to be the partner of Prophet Adam (AS). Quoting the book Stories of the Prophets by Imam Ibnu Kathir, Allah Swt. created Siti Hawa from one of the ribs of Prophet Adam (AS). which was taken by Allah SWT..
Together with Siti Hawa, Prophet Adam a.s. live a happy life in heaven. They both enjoyed the various pleasures that had been provided. However, there is one strict prohibition given by Allah SWT. to them, namely not to eat the fruit of the tree called khuldi. Allah SWT. said:
“O Adam! Live you and your wife in heaven, and eat various delicious foods that are there as you like. (But) do not approach this tree, then you will be among the wrongdoers!" (QS. Al Baqarah: 35)
Knowing this, the devil wanted to fulfill his promise to take revenge with the aim of misleading Prophet Adam (AS). The devil then tempted the couple to eat the khuldi fruit. The goal is for them to be expelled from heaven as he felt.
Satan said, "O Adam, indeed Allah forbids you to approach and eat the fruit of that tree because you do not want your glory to be equal to that of the angels." As a result of Satan's strong temptation, Prophet Adam (AS) finally died. and Siti Hawa melted and ate the khuldi fruit. After eating the khuldi fruit, the Prophet and Siti Hawa realized their mistake. Both of them begged for forgiveness and regretted their actions to Allah SWT. Knowing this incident, Allah SWT. angry and ordered them to get out of His heaven.
