Naoshum (original copy) 1st half subtitled, a Manipuri Feature film

The story happens in a far village. It starts with a question! Why Panthoi's father left behind his pregnant wife Leibaklei (Panthoi's mother) in a hospital, that too in an unconcious state ? ... And never return back! Leibaklei gave birth to Panthoi.
When Panthoi came of age,...how Pamheiba adored and liked her. Pamheiba, although loved Panthoi, was hesitate to express his feelings. And at the same time, he took great care of Panthoi, when in need. In the meanwhile, a dashing and handsome youth called Malem came into the scene and he felt in live with Panthoi.
The humor, the funny dialogues and the plots, the film has. And in the midst of all ups and downs of life, came a sudden twist. Unable to stand the shame caused by the beloved and separation, leads to the occurance of a tragic incidence - which will leave a deep mark (on all) on the minds and hearts of all, - an unforgetable event.
