You know what I'm doing now? I'm marathoning all the Putt-Putt, Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, and Spy Fox games, plus the Buzzy the Knowledge Bug and Blue's Clues games, in chronological order. It's going to be neat slowly watching the computer graphics and animation improve over the years. I love Humongous Entertainment! ^^

This is nearly 30 years old. 30. I'm 31 and I has such strong memories of this game as a child. It's so entrenched in my mind. I have just had my first child, I hope she has something like this in her life, I hope she has a future that brings warm memories back too.

Shelly Day is the one that made Putt-Putt, but before is was turn into a game he was a bed story to her 3 year old son. And it made be Putt Putt that gave the UK the idea to make Brum. So Putt-Putt is almost like Thomas and Friends when they were made.
Maybe he actually does have parents, they're just never shown or mentioned because they aren't relevant to the plots. There could be more to Putt-Putt's house that we don't see because there's no need to. Like Freddi Fish's parents and Luther's parents, the games never mention them either and we never see Freddi or Luther's homes at all, but they have them.
I remember when I was a kid i would go to this place called Planet Kids in Fountain Valley in California they had computer games including this game & I play this game all the time. Great memories
HS, is Putt-Putt an orphan? He lives alone in a small garage and doesn't know how to take care of himself! Putt-Putt should be wishing he had parents, not a pet. Poor Putt-Putt. He is an orphan, poor and alone!
@TheMickiRae I'm sure he does have parents, HE just never bothered to show them. That, or he matured extremely quickly and lives alone. They did throw the parents excuse for Freddi Fish at one point.
You can somewhat fix that (not that many people know this) -- if you press the - or + keys on your keyboard, the text speed will change and it will properly cut off at the right time if you set it fast enough. The only problem is that some dialog is broken down into two or three pieces of text, and when you have the speed on all the way, you barely get a chance to see the first one or two pieces.
@Hondo20132 Well, I really just have more of a desire to make them single-part. There are some that I really want to redo, like Freddi Fish 1 (the cursor didn't show up there) and Water Worries (volume was very low with loud white noise)
