Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, RUclips and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!

But I'm happy fortunate my team is treating me and bringing me back to my old self again! I'm still on the waiting list to have one of these pot things you're doing done! I recently wore a heart monitor as I've been experiencing some issues. As such, I smiled at recalling how I too performed numerous tasks attempting to determine what did and did not trigger events.

Thank you so much for this video, Im going through a POTS investigation myself and all my ecg tests so far have come back as normal or nothing significant and it’s just frustrating! I’m so thankful to see someone else with similar struggles, they’re shit things to go through but knowing we aren’t alone in struggles is helpful :) (sorry if i didn’t make complete sense having heavy brain fog) But thank you for everything you do Zara i will always be so so grateful❤
I’ve mentioned before, I have a mild case of pots. I don’t know how healthy this is or if it’s helpful with more severe cases, but I take in a bit more salt than the average person along with a lot of water to keep my blood volume high. I have to stay away from caffeine because while it helps by constructing blood vessels, when it wears off my blood pressure drops through the floor and I’m screwed up for days 😬

When I was 7 years old I was very very sick. After this sickness i started appreciate all the nature :) I just walking around this field and went through small forest near of it. i started notice every little detail in a new beauty way. Every time when i walk here I feel the same. Yes even now I'm walking here.. and watching your video :)

When I'm lying down and I get up I literally lose my sight for a few seconds (I see everything white) and I get dizzy, I thought it was normal lol
it is normal sometimes! it’s just people with POTS have this to an extreme level all the time

It is a matter of degree I think. Dizzy on occasion is fairly common when standing too fast. Momentary blindness is the absolute max for most. Passing out is a different level. For most this also tends to happen in suboptimal conditions such as heat or dehydration.

I remember my ambulatory ECG, I had it when I was fifteen and it helped me get my POTS diagnosis. I'm on medication for my POTS and it's doing wonders for me.
What medications are helping you?

You can do work/travel trips in France that would being your language on so quickly. There's loads of companies that can organise it for you, or you could go au pair/summer camp counsellor route

I’m six minutes and 37 seconds in and when she said she is her dream was to go to France that’s mean I’ve went to France the previous/last Christmas it was fantastic!

Mon vie est pas tres bonne mais pas trops mal, je peux faire les sports mais pas pour beaucoup de temps parce'que mes pieds va etre TRES mal et je vais etre dans beaucoup de pain. Im not that aged, im just 11 years old and i just wanted to say that im moving to San Francisco and im scared. My life is bot so good but not so bad either, i can do sports but not for a long time because my legs and feet with be SO hurt and i will be in SO MUCH pain. Also i love you and your videos!

No problem I've had quite a few ecg because I had open heart surgery when I was a baby and they monitored my heart for every 2 years
