Thanks for uploading this, am obsessed with stewart copelands drumming so it's and absolute treat to watch such an accurate performance of the studio version
There are only two reasons why you haven't got at least a thousand likes on this drum cover all ready of im so lonely by the police.Either people who are drummers themselves are jealous or not many have seen it yet. Its a superb cover and you have done that number proud. Very well done , keep posting.
Having regularly played this-and other Police tunes-myself in the past for at least 30 years, I really enjoyed watching and hearing your version. You really manage to capture a lot of the energy of the original.
@@jakegilbertdrums2169 You’re very welcome! BTW: I’m of a certain age and have listened to that song probably a thousand times since it came out! Truly impressive my friend! You should tag Stewart Copeland- I’m sure he’d be impressed as well!
I wonder if you could play Copeland’s work with traditional grip. He had that powerful, snappy snare strike which sounds different than that of the modern grip.
Super
Thanks
A lovely cover. Great attention to detail. You caught that drop down following the solo / chorus perfectly with that odd beat.
Bravo!
Thanks a lot!

Try The Police song “No Time This Time”…
Oh yes. I love that track!
Yeah
just a detail, in the verse the bass drum is two beats not one (following the bass line)
Very nice job, but to be closer to Stewart drumming you should better change your left hand grip to jazz style..😉👍
Thanks. Yes thats the ultimate Copeland thing.😂
None of these coverists packs the power that Copeland can generate .
