- First thing's first. This kit takes a while to install. Especially if you are not experienced. The install videos posted by Southern Lite Led are not the greatest. If you have questions about how I did anything in this video, feel free to ask in the comments. I will respond to all comments. My opinion on the leds:
Bow light: very bright, and well constructed. Do not get the steel housing. Go aluminum!
Rooster tail leds: 💯 on point bright and durable.
Snake tubes: for $40 they are probably the best bang for your buck led strip lights. I'd give them 2-3yrs max life.
Switch panel: love it. Easy install and well constructed. Push buttons seem durable. I opted out of steel mounting bracket and went flush mount.
Fuse panel: it works. Not a fan of steel mounting hardware, or tiny screws against wire.
Dimmer switch: would be perfect if it was aluminum instead of steel.
Wiring and harnesses did help. Not a necessity tho.
I hope this video helps you. Thanks for watching!

Pretty sweet! The rooster tail lights are ok, I guess. Dude will look like a UFO on the water!
Another fine job by Tricked Tins!
Hahaha thanks brotha. Ufos are an everyday thing now lol.
Another clean install !! Looks great
Thanks Brotha!
Very nice job clean very clean install awesome. I do not like them lights. I like the ones you use a lot better I installed lights that look just like them on my boat. They did not last a year they started going out so some are working and some are not
Thanks brotha. Leds are definitely not all the same. The strip lights I normally use are about $80 a piece. Its expensive but they will last 10 plus years. The labor of installation is worth more than that. Id rather pay a little more for the leds and not have to worry with them in 2 years
I wish these type of LED came standard on bass boats…
Me too.
I tunneled through the foam in my 2072 and put a 3” hose in it so next time I have to run wire it’ll just slide right through
How'd you do that?
