I would have to suspcct that the device was damaged by a customer, returned and, then sold to you?

So you turned off auto focus and are using .75 Barlow lens?

If you are talking about the microscope camera, it does not have autofocus so I assume you mean the auto exposure? In that case yes I use it with auto exposure turned off so I can adjust the external lighting to get the best exposure.

I tend to use the .5 or .75 barlow les as appropriate.
