Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has always made me feel happy, a very hard thing to find in this world. I saw her years ago in Los Angeles and it changed my life. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu turned me on to the world of music from Japan and I have been a fan of all things Asia ever since. All love to KPP, Sabastian Musada and Yasutaka.
Hm. I'd like to think of this music video as a loose sequel to the one for "Invader Invader". In that one, Kyary was shown making plans for an invasion. So, maybe somewhere down the line she invaded, or infiltrated, this egg kingdom, essentially becoming one of them (1:07). She entertains them and the public adores her. And then, we see her dismantling it from within. She launches a surprise attack (0:49). She then leaves the kingdom and, upon reaching some distance and taking a quick bath, orders her UFO's to obliterate it (2:00). She uses some sort of mind-altering agent to turn her two dancers hostile against their own kind (2:22). Once they've killed the scientists who had built her escape ship, Kyary kills them as well (2:35). And she makes a clean getaway. Because that's how badass Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is.
If I was young again, i believe this video would traumatized about both her and the holiday.. I just read the translation and now Im not sure what to think of this song and video..
