Ah, they're not so different. The same weird chord changes that I loved about Voivod were right there in the first Cardiacs album I got into, Sing To God. Eat It Up Worms hero could almost have been on a Voivod album.
Haha très cool! C'est toi qui m'a fait découvrir Cardiacs et c'est tellement un bon band... Plus on l'écoute, meilleur c'est. Rest in power, Tim Smith!
I love it! This is one of Cardiacs craziest tunes but you played it PERFECTLY such easily, having fun and not missing one eye-brow... Worthy of laudation!
This absolutely made my day. Ive been on a huge Voivod and Cardiacs binge during quarantine, but not even that could have prepared me for this crossover. Thank you for posting, and hopefully more will follow.
I beleive that you and Tantacrul did a great job at raising awareness about Cardiacs. I got hooked after watching his video about them and a friend of mine, I if I recall correctly, decided to check them out after seeing you on the photo from The Wake where you were wearing that black t-shirt. So thank you for doing your part in getting the band the recognition they truly deserve!
Amazing cover! Two of my favourite bands collide... Loved VoiVod since discovering Dimension Hatross in the 80s, and Cardiacs since discovering Songs for Ships and Irons in the early 90s. Was lucky enough to see both bands play live several times. The two of you playing together would have been a dream come true!

Thanks for flying the flag for the Cardiacs Dan. I had never heard of them but between your and Devin Townsend’s recommendations I’ve been checking their stuff out. Mind bogglingly strange yet catchy. I really like what I’ve heard so far.
This is just utterly fantastic. I've been a Voivod fan since War and Pain, I am very excited about how Voivod got this "boost" since you Dan joined them (the new stuff I've heard so far from Synchro Anarchy sounds VERY promising) and then only a few days ago - MUCH too late - I only just discoverd Cardiacs through their Sing to God album... completely blown away and eager to check out their entire discography. And then this. Wow. Just Wow. Thanks so much for playing and posting this, it's just amazing. RIP Tim.
