I had seen the Xmas one but never the Thanksgiving one, and it this one seemed better animated even though it's almost 10 years older. Plus there are more elements from the strip - turtle and apteryx, Midnight Skulker, etc.
I can't help wondering if B.C. really took place in caveman times since they sometimes mention celebrities and Jesus Christ if Christ won't be born for another many many years
Didn't that voice also play Mr. Jinks, and a host of Fractured Fairy Tales characters? What? Eat the rocks? After the dino spit them out? Yuck-a-doodle-doo!
@TechnoHajikelist The theory is that it takes place in the distant future. That's why there are references to modern times and there are modern people across the sea and this is a desert rather than jungle, etc.
4get the nay-sayers. The only 1s who do the most whining & complaining are the little fools who became familiar w/ "B.C." from the reference made to it on "Family Guy" a few years back. Screw 'em. Anyhoo, thanks for the upload! It brought back precious memories from my childhood!
We are gathered here on this festive occasion to give thanks for these bountiful rocks....... for these BOUNTIFUL rocks.....For these miserable rocks .......that's bountiful ! that's bountiful .... Let's see where was I ? Let's see where was I ? will you guys cut the comedy ? will you guys cut the comedy ?
goons around the crock pot with their noses in the pot 0:59 wondering why it's empty . This is where our silly ' forefathers ' came to the conclusion that things had to be done ....
Whoa! Fat Broad, PMSing much? What a nasty temper. You must be tough to eat half of that rock you were sitting on. Hart is such a genius to come up with that skit. Ouch! Best part: Fat Broad: " Will you guys cut the comedy?" Guys: "Will you guys cut the comedy?" LOL.
Ya. I might like BC, but this special really sucked. Quite badly. This could have been an entertaining comic series if reduced to panels, but it doesn't translate well at all to animated action. It's got to be a real sense of nostaligia to want to see this more than once. The flute music put me right back into the 70's, and I almost vomited. It's pure polyester in several shades of brown.
Happy thanksgiving 2021! Wouldn’t be the same without watching this classic with family and friends. 🦃
Wow! I have been a fan of BC comics since the '70s and I always wondered what their voices would sound like! Now I finally know!
holy craps that turkey runs fast!
We must acknowledge the great provider
Wiley : That ain't you is it ?
No stupid
I love the music in this
Fractured Fairy Tales was narrated by Edward Everett Horton, but Daws Butler was a voice actor on that and other cartoons back then.

I've always loved how the turkey ran down the hill at 4:18.
Happy Holidays!!!!
