So wonderful to hear your story. I am a 25 year old working at a Waldorf-inspired preschool and kindergarten and have been searching for more ways to learn about this education. I have been considering taking a part time course. Thanks for the information
I enjoy everything you post, thank you! I am a mother of 2 young children, very similar to your story- drawn to Waldorf education like a moth to the flame :) I am teaching and taking a LifeWays course now, it has been wonderful and has kept me on track with my intentions.
I became a Montessori educator in much the same way, minus the children. The first time I stepped into the classroom I knew it was the style of education I wanted to be involved in.

Hello. I am a Kindergarten teacher in Florida. I will check out these links as I am wondering if I can take these classes/ trainings online (There are only two Waldorf schools in Florida- I would love for us to have one here on the Gulf Coast). Thank you for your videos :)

This is nice to hear. However I am not from america. In my view every child should go thru such schooling phase to learn nurture and grow. I will definitely check out those links though. Tnq Sarah again.

I am finishing up my associates degree focused on teacher preparation in NC, but I am wanting to pursue a Waldorf teaching program. I’ve been considering moving to NH in order to have access to the curriculum… but am feeling timid with all the google searches on what my options are. What do you recommend I do?

Hi Sarah! I am super interested in waldorf education but have no prior education experience and am currently on a different career path (farming) I've done my own online research and love watching your videos but I find that it can be hard to find good basic resources. I would love to hear your favorite books, websites, other resources etc about waldorf/basic anthroposophy. Thank you!

Do you have to have a bachelors degree before you can enroll in a Waldorf course?

Good day! I wanted to ask if a undergraduate degree is needed to become a Waldorf teacher. I'm a 42 year old mother of 2 and hold licenses and certificates in a variety of Childrent and Adult education, but no formal degree. Is this a necessary paper that is required? Thank you
Hi Sarah, what can you tell us about male Waldorf teachers? Are most Waldorf teachers female? Is it more difficult for men to start with first grade students?
When I went to a Waldorf school (for 11 years) there were more male than female teachers
I’d live to be a Waldorf teacher, at least to my grandchildren.
I was very excited to start teaching at Waldorf, but you're required to study Rudolf Steiner's race theories. He claimed that people with darker skin would have to reincarnate a few times before becoming white. I know the kids and their parents will never hear about Steiner, but they consider this race theory to be the base of Antroposophy and it's mandatory training material for every new teacher.

I imagine it's just for historical purposes, at least I hope. I guess it's good not to forget and gloss over it.
Interesting, the Waldorf in my area is 60% a minority demographic. I've never heard of them as being racist.

Because, I'm supposed to be giving a new Waldorf inspired school an answer today or tomorrow on if I have decided to accept and take on being their main teacher.
