Steak, noodles, sweet potato, potato, onions and all kinds of vegetables and no broth because the bowl is more croweded than a pool on the hottest day of summer. That is not a soup, thats a concoction.

to be fair, tokie didn't use the right cut of beef either. traditionally, you should use fattier cuts of beef so it retains its moisture after being braised for hours.

@Jporcupineit looked dry af... I know braised beef feels dry af on the outside and then inside is like pulled pork.. soft and easy to swallow but absorbs all the moisture in your mouth and leaves a gritty feel... While braised pork with fat is more smooth feeling

The black ramen is basically a struggle food you put whatever you have left in it.
I kind of love it though. It's a dish versatile enough to adapt to different cultures and you can experiment with it and remove/add ingredients. I think asian people should be proud of having brought such a versatile dish to the world rather than complain about what people put in it or call it "struggle food". Just my two cents though.
