  • New Texas Speed cam with upgraded beehive springs, LS7 lifters and new 7.400 pushrods. I went with more of a mild cam since the car has 120k miles. This is before a tune, but I'll try to post dyno numbers later. So far my power adding upgrades are just headers and the cam. Also have Magnaflow mufflers.
    Texas Speed part number: 25-TSP224228R6112
    Cam Specs:

    exhaust duration: 228
    intake and exhaust lobe lift: .353
    valve lift: .600

    any dyno numbers? I've had an 04 gto since new and am finally going to cam it. I am also considering something on the smaller end like this because of miles. Are you running stock lifters?

    Definitely need dyno numbers on this it’s been like 9 months😂 and a start up and sound check after it’s been tuned properly.

      I got it tuned, but should probably get it tuned again because he didn't use a wideband or a dyno. It still runs pretty well and a lot smoother than this video, but definitely should've used a wideband. I'll try to get to get it retuned late spring or early summer.

    I’m currently building my GTO it has a TSP cam as well 220 .600 112 LSA will that have similar chop?

      @CoDisafishy Год назад

      Probably, because it's a 112 LSA. That's what gives it most of the chop sound. Did you ever finish it?

      @@CoDisafishy couple more months, it’s still winter in Wisconsin. Needs fuel and cooling system installed and a tune before it’s first ever start up with a brand new engine.

    Does it always have a weak start like that?

      I got it tuned soon after and it runs smoothly now.
