@@mistresskixen6142 it depends on which iteration we’re talking about here. I was referring to the IDW/Turtles In Time versions. But yeah in tmnt adventures he was an alien space turtle that teamed up with Krang. The 80s cartoon he was Bebop and Rocksteady’s pet turtle that got mutanted and tbh I can’t recall if the latter was a snapping turtle since it has been almost 30 years since I last saw said episode.
@@KirbyFrontier Tokka And Rahzar actually did show up in one of the later episodes of the original Ninja Turtles cartoon. They were a one shot episode that happened sometime in one of the last few seasons. But however you are correct at the same time as one the TMNT creator’s had an issue with Bebop and Rocksteady being shown so the producer’s optioned to newly created characters to fill in instead for TMNT 2. Later on they would go to be featured in the above mentioned along with TMNT 3 NES,Turtles In Time and Playmates did action figures of both characters also from what I vividly recall.
@@jonguyxx4531 Tokka was called a Snapping Turtle in the TMNT 2 movie by the shredder himself before he was mutated so that was where I got that info from. Plus from what I remember from the series they never mentioned the type of Turtle Slash was. However from the cartoon I do remember Bebop mentioning that Slash was his pet turtle and that he loved his Binke (a toy tree)
17:52 I was expecting the other Stone Warrior commanding officer (the blue one with a flamethrower who appeared in TMNT 2). Oh well... 22:19 Holy nostalgic theme. Krang time.
Not gonna lie, when I saw some of the boss names for the first time I had no idea some of them even originated in this generation of turtles, like Leatherface and rat king.
Leatherhead was in the original cartoon but made his first boss appearence in the NES manhattan project. He was also in the TMNT turtles in times games. The Rat king was also from the original cartoon but also made appearances in the SNES Tournament fighters game, as well as the Turtles in time game.
Master Splinter should’ve been the unlockable instead of Casey. It makes no sense that Casey has better stats than everyone including Master Splinter. Splinter should be the most powerful character.

Kinda love how they turned around the golden rule of the old TMNT-classics: Have Rocksteady first, Bebop always the second boss. Not sure if that was the reason behind that decision, but I would love to think so :)
Of all the things I expected from this game, Shredder bringing along his personal rapper was not one of them. Little note, but Donatello's charged swing can hit Lady Tyranny when she's back in the corner.
@@MoPete007 that achievement where you must beat Super Shredder without getting hit might be the TMNT equivalent of that one achievement in Sonic CD where you have to win against Metal Sonic without getting hurt at all
I think Tokka and Rahzar could be better as bosses instead of Tempestra's backup, perhaps they could replace Bebop and Rocksteady at 9:46. Also a few more bosses could be added for the fun like Antrax, Scumbug, Wyrm, Armaggon and Pizza Face.
My reason is that Since those characters never appeared in the show (Pizza Face) and some of them are independent villains (I.E. Not working with Shredder) in the TMBT 1987 universe (Same goes to Rat King, Leatherhead, Baxter Stockman (Post Fly), Chrome Dome, and Tempestra. Not to mention one shot villains like Eric the Red Eye, Gordan Hungerdunger, Mister X, Dr. Lessaue, Mad Dog McMutt, and Rudolph Cobrato).
@@jaggerguth4391 It's true that Pizza Face, Wyrm and Armaggon didn't appear in the show but at least they were made as villains toys of TMNT 1987 and I don't think there is need some human villains like Mr. X, Mad Dog, J. Gordon, Big Louie and all these gangsters cuz I'm talking about mutants and powerful guys just like Eric the Red Eye and Cobrato (which also could fit) and about Antrax and Scumbug they did appear in show if you remember.

I love the remix of krangs theme.
that little buildup it has is both charming and baddass.
the shredder,s rap song in the first is encounter is fire :D
How the hell is Casey Jones able to eat pizza with his mask on
The same way he can get a high position job in a corporation with his mask on.
@@teddybeer6206 hmm interesting
@@teddybeer6206 That... is actually true and makes me thinking hard.

17:52 I was expecting the other Stone Warrior commanding officer (the blue one with a flamethrower who appeared in TMNT 2).
Oh well...
22:19 Holy nostalgic theme. Krang time.
Yeah, where is Granitor?
Yes!! TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooz Super Shredder!
Tee Lopes did the soundtrack. Why am I surprised at this point?
Not gonna lie, when I saw some of the boss names for the first time I had no idea some of them even originated in this generation of turtles, like Leatherface and rat king.
Lol those are og comic characters
Zoomers..
Leatherhead was in the original cartoon but made his first boss appearence in the NES manhattan project. He was also in the TMNT turtles in times games.
The Rat king was also from the original cartoon but also made appearances in the SNES Tournament fighters game, as well as the Turtles in time game.
They both appeared in the turtles in time game. Also, they're not from this generation cause most were already in the OG comics back in like the 80s
@@theedwardian Bro, you don’t gotta look down on someone just because they aren’t familiar with the source material…
This is really really awesome it bosses fight now
Keeping it with the 80's turtles.
Yep, I bought this game immediately when I heard the OG themesong. I did not regret anything about this game.
Tip:
If you press L2 (PlayStation) you can build your special meter pretty quickly…no matter which character you choose
Well, the tenderizer was pretty clean. I always find that one hard.
Master Splinter should’ve been the unlockable instead of Casey. It makes no sense that Casey has better stats than everyone including Master Splinter. Splinter should be the most powerful character.
True
Facts
Yes but in the show April and Sprinter are apart of the main cast that appear more frequent, Casey is a recurring ally.
I remember how unstoppable and swift regular Shredder was in Manhattan Project. Here, he kinda is pushover and slow.
Yeah, but he kinda makes up for it with the Super Shredder boss. His attacks become alot more frominent and fast.
put the difficulty up
Damn! Despite being a later-stage Boss, Captain Zorax got slapped down _hard and fast_ by April! 😵
Does anyone else remember when they said they were going to reboot the Battletoads series, and they gave us some cartoony-looking thing that looked like it was make by the 2018 Nickelodeon TMNT staff? Yeah, THIS is how you do a reboot!!!!!

That Shredder theme though!!

Groundchuck: "You're gonna get the horns, partner!"
Dirtbag: "Can you dig it, suckas?"
That Chrome Dome fight is so cool
While it would never happen, I'd love to see a company do something like this for the 2003 TMNT game.
Kinda love how they turned around the golden rule of the old TMNT-classics: Have Rocksteady first, Bebop always the second boss. Not sure if that was the reason behind that decision, but I would love to think so :)
This is kind of similar to more of the first Tmnt nes game. Bebop was first in that game
Of all the things I expected from this game, Shredder bringing along his personal rapper was not one of them.
Little note, but Donatello's charged swing can hit Lady Tyranny when she's back in the corner.
Actually, all their attacks(aside from splinter I believe) can hit her while she's on the side.
And we still have The Cowabunga Collection coming later this year…awesome time to be a Ninja Turtle fan.
The developers actually expect us to fight the statue of tyranny with only regular combos, goddamn!
Or that AND Super Shredder without getting hurt! GOOD LUCK.
@@MoPete007 that achievement where you must beat Super Shredder without getting hit might be the TMNT equivalent of that one achievement in Sonic CD where you have to win against Metal Sonic without getting hurt at all
I hoped for Razhar and Tokka to be own bosses.
Hope they make a story mode 2 and 3.
Shredder’s Revenge could have Boss Rush mode.
Okay here me out

I like so much of the game
Lessaue, Mad Dog McMutt, and Rudolph Cobrato).
titanus and his minions, lord dregg, herman the horrible, dirk savage, creepie eddie, doomquest, destructor x...
@@MagnusPrimeZ Relax it's way too far because the game should have been more longer and with more locations and stuff to add these guys and as for dirk savage he was just a misguided mutant hunter who didn't know that not all mutants are evil and then became kind of an ally.
@@rayprimo9022 at the very least some of them with lord dregg as the true final boss in the dlc, he was the final antagonist of the original show and the 2012 version

8:12 TEMPESTRA!!! I was a little disappointed that most of the bosses were the ones who had already appeared in the older Konami titles, but maaaaan Tempestra is a deep cut from the series (and one of the very few female villains on the show).
The truth is that the game is spectacular aesthetically, but the bosses and their difficulty are very facial, I imagine there must be a very difficult mode for it to make sense to play it, greetings 👏🏻🇦🇷
Your best bet would be the Gnarly difficulty I think

17:46 General Traag : I'll take the turtle!
Lieutenant Granitor : Sir! What about me?
General Traag : No. You find the other Neutrino brats before other Turtles show up! Or......just guard behind the back in somewhere else.

It's a shame that Super Shredder doesn't have the one-hit kill he had in TMNT 1.

Krang Boss Music Best 🤩🤩🤩
this is giving me Scott Pilgrim vibes
I read somewhere that the guys who made Scott Pilgrim left the Ubisoft studio and made this game.
Don't forget Ubisoft also made the 2007 TMNT game

Just disappointed that its not the tmnt 3 and 4 design with a curve sword.
I like the turtles voices, Cowabunga
22:17 - Krang sounds like Emotion Lord.
Nice gameplay bro, all bosses are awesome! 🔥
Honestly, Krang willingly running a diversion for Shredder was so out of character. Put himself at risk so that Shredder can claim the glory? He'd *never* be a team player like that. XD
Shredder promised him good mixtape and Krang tried to give him time to get it going.
And boy, did Shredder deliver.
Glad to see April beat the snot out of the Rat King. After what he did in his debut episode, he pretty much asked for it.
What did he do.
