Salt Lake is turning into the monster I thought it would become. They are following the same path as failed cities before like Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego etc. Over development, Gentrification, illegal migrants flooding the city for the construction work and fentanyl trafficking out of Mexico. Rising home prices because of house flipping and pro real estate sales from around the globe. Rising costs of everything else because of rising housing costs. Then increases in homelessness and crime ending in the people fleeing to the next big thing because they are unhappy in what they created. They never learn

This doesn't fix the underlying problem, high rents, illegal immigrants literally getting bused in, lack of resources.
Maybe because of the new stadium, the popo my keep the homeless away from that location, but arresting them doesn't fix the problem, if anything it makes them less likely to be able to get off the streets. 🤦‍♂️
