We had no intentions of doing a trek when we arrived in Nepal but it did not take us long to change our minds. Nepal is known to have the most beautiful landscapes in the world, with lush green valleys, tall mountains and the most amazing adventures. Trekking does not come naturally to us but in this vlog we show you what makes Nepal one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

I can assure the views are just gonna get better and better only esp if it’s a clear day and u can see the snow capped mountains . A line stuck with me “ as u go higher the food is gonna cost more ,drinks gonna cost more,cause u have to carry it all the way up “ indeed .atleast u realise the hardship that goes behind carrying the food all the way up the hill and as such it reflects on the pricing ,unlike a British lady few years back who went viral on the internet in Nepal and the uk as well over this dispute she had with a local tea seller for charging her 250 rupees somewhere high in the mountains

Hello from Oregon, USA -- New subscriber here -- thanks very much for this lovely and well-produced video of your trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area -- your enthusiasm is delightful. 48 years ago, I lived and worked for 2 1/2 years about 7 hours NW of Pokhara on the southern slope of Machapuchare in the Mardi River Valley. At that time, Pokhara was still a small town of just 26,000 people with few foreign visitors and almost no cars. The entire region West of Pokhara was completely roadless and all travel was on well used foot trails. I roamed widely throughout the Annapurnas during those years and enjoyed staying with random local families when away from my home village. Thanks again for the fun video and for bringing to mind memories of a wonderful and adventurous time in my life. Best wishes and safe travels-- Mark

Milk white rivers, dense green forests, step by step rice fields and beautiful villages of Nepal symbolize the heavenly Himalayan nature. And this small and beautiful stay in the midst of trekking makes you feel that Nepal is truly a paradise for trekkers. The view was just a slice of heaven.

Spoiler: Everything (mountains, waterfalls, vegetation) will get exponentially more awesome as you climb higher. The weariness and lack of facilities might daunt you a bit but you'll forget it as soon as you look up at the grandeur of the Himalaya.

The trek cost really changes depending on how quick/slow you do it, the type of place you wish to stay & the food you eat. Also whether you go independently or with a guide. Your TIMS & ACAP are permits you need (5,000 NPR) and we'd say budget 2000 NPR per person per day for everything. The higher you go, the more expensive it is. We really hope you enjoy your trip! 😊

I did this trek in 1980 but it was in November so cooler. It gets better,there’s a couple of steep climbs to come but it’s worth it

Sorry, when I checked my notebook I realised that the steep hill that I recalled was between Birethanti and Ulleri
so you’ve already done it
Route will be the same but in 1980 we walked from Pokara as there wasn’t a road
We didn’t return the same way.After tatopani we went to Beni I think and then followed the kalikandaki (?) river back towards Pokhara
