When I first saw the tracklist, I was shocked to see Dino who participated in writing and composing "Shadow" but then I remembered that he's future of kpop.

Why there is no music video
There is MV only for Hot because it's the title track . In very rare cases there are MVs for besides . Darling also has a mv as it was a single ❣️

I've been into kpop since 2009, I've seen a lot of groups, discover and enjoy their music. A lot of groups have tried into various music genre, and I think that is something really risky and scary. Yes, many have succeed but there are also who failed in transcending. The fact that SEVENTEEN is a 7 year old group and still exploring various music genre every single comeback and still being able to deliver it well. The consistency of their talent is something to be scared of. Whatever genre it is, they can still eat the whole kpop industry. I could say no one can outdone them than themselves alone. May you have a loud successful comeback boys!!!

SHADOW lyric is superb!
They are not talking about a couple or love between boy and girl. This song is about surviving even in our darkest time, accepting ourself as a human being even we have some flaws that we want to hide.

if we base it on carl jung's psychology, shadow means the part of us that we despise or hide, which makes sense in the song's context, since theyre telling themselves to accept their shadow more (the dark part of them that they hate)

When they said that "they're not SEVENTEEN anymore," I really felt that from this album. It's not like I'm implying that they're losing their roots, but you can notice that it's a change of sound compared to other past releases though with still a subtle hint of their own style. This is a brand new SVT 2.0, that's definitely bolder and something we haven't seen before. It's what I really love about them 'cause they're always trying to show new sides of them to CARATS-performing beyond the boundaries than what is usually expected from them thus, proving their versatility as musicians.

I love how you explained that accurately. They’re full of surprises, but despite the changes in their music, I know we can all agree that throughout these 7 years, they never disappointed us with their releases.

Really love how SVT can rock any genres and how they're not afraid to keep trying and experimenting new styles without losing their identity. I feel like this is one of the advantage in being THE self-producing idol
It's going to be my first comeback with Seventeen and the Highlight Medley is absolutely one of the things I was waiting for. All songs sounded different and new and that's what I loved about it. I loved Don Quixote, Shadow, and If you leave me so much. So excited for this comeback 🔥

Woozi is so crazy i think, he give us amazing songs on this album.
Their concept is unique and remarkable; you can experience the refreshing vibe while rocking to it, but you also feel like headbanging. We can genuinely see a side of seventeen that we rarely see because of the youthful concept that they grew up to. You can see that they're maturing now, as well as their music.
Face The Sun really is fitting for them, our boys are literally and figuratively shining. I'm so proud ❣️💅🏻

Exactly. Remember that in the ATTACCA highlight medley, they muted/minimized some elements in 'ROCK WITH YOU' compared to the actual sound of it. I think they also did the same in 'HOT'.

That “i’m not seventeen anymore” is the theme of the album pertaining to their individual fears and how they’ll overcome it. as a collective, their biggest fear is not being in the team anymore, hence the twitter clips where they’re saying that line. for their individual fears, it’s in the individual teasers they uploaded in this channel + quotes in their solo instagram accounts thru ig stories
they always explore new styles everytime they release an album, that’s nothing new. they’ll probably venture to other music territory too in their next album and that will go on in the future + solo stuff. they’re getting more diverse as they grow as artists and i’m so excited for what they’ll come up this next era.
