Looked at a couple but this was the best bang for the buck. Yes iam happy with it. Theres a couple things i would change about it but overall happy

Still wishing the thumb closed more for picking up really little stuff but making due with it and getting used to it

what wire did you use? on gentecs website they say its made of AR400

I used .35 Lincoln wire with aargon and a miller 220 at max with 2 passes.

How did you measure for the thumb and how long is the cylinder?

The thumb came as a kit for machine between 3 and 5 ton. I used clamps to hold it on the stick to check for motion as to where it needed to be

nice job. thanks for showing the hydraulic pressure adjustment. Going to be doing this on my takeuchi soon. Is there a good pressure testing gauge that you recomend?

Also, does it matter which line you hook the pressure tester to? Which one would be best? Thanks

Any gauge will work. i just used a super old one i had laying around in the shop for a long time. Iam sure amazon will have a reasonably priced one

Hook it up to the both lines running to the thumb cylinder and test each line for pressure
