Amazing song, amazing performance. The vocals are so soulful and melancholic, makes me want to weep. And that bass line!... can't believe that guy didn't even know how to play when he first joined. Goes to show how much natural talent is flowing through the Followill blood. The next super group.

Jared locked himself in his room until he learned the bass when Nathan and Caleb told him they wanted him in the band.. shows how close these guys are.. never picked up a bass in his life, when his family asks him to, he locks himself in his room.. loyalty or what!
I've only recently started listening to these guys. They're not bad, but one thing bugs me. It seems like almost all of their songs are building tension that never releases. It's like a balloon you think is gonna pop, but it just keeps getting bigger. Then it just floats off into the sky...

i saw KOL last night & maaaan, they're fucking amazing live, but i think the concert would've been a lot better if they played this song & cold desert atleast & i never realized that caleb's voice is thaat raspy♥ (; im so tired of people saying KOL sucks. if it wasnt for music like this, i wouldnt listen to anything at all. KOL - come to Boston again sooon ! (:
I'm sick of hearing KOL have become ''sell-outs'' !!! They are just evolving as a band. Musicians keep trying new ideas and styles!! KOL had no idea of their album would reach so many different kinds of people.. Like you say: They're very talented, which is reflected in their great succes.. They have changed from their old musicstyle, but thats not necessarily because of they're selling out. Listen to the goddamn music instead of complaining about ''sell-out''!! 'Caus it is exelent music OKAY!!!
it almost angers me how ignored jared is by the camera in this song... he fuckin tears it up at the end, and they show him twice, maybe, but neither is a shot of his hands or of him playing, just his face. i mean COME ON.
@Vaerum Indeed, their new album is the first they themselves have produced as they weren't happy with the recording quality of their last albums...No idea what they were on about, but no, they've just suddenly become popular, which I personally think is good. I mean i'd rather hear this on the radio than Chris Brown or some other rubbish x
that bassplayer is just amazing, you can't compare him with enyone else. He shows that it isn't all about speed, but beautiful melodies...
