edit: I just got mine your actually suppose to fill spongebob up face down in water and press his back button to fill him up but the toy can only hold a certain amount of water and the trap hole in the back lets the water out yeah its kind of weird but a fun toy

I just found one of them, it’s nearly 20 years old and it’s kinda faded, my older siblings played with it, I’m too scared to test it out because the nose is melted to the edge of the tank, but whatever

Fun fact: These toys were advertised as being able to function in water or on land. For example, squidward's arms were supposed to "row the toy" if you put him in a pool or bathtub.
I really can't imagine that considering how many metal parts are in the wind-eup toys.

i LOVED getting these spongebob toys in bk meals. and not just this set. the mcdonalds set was ok, but the bk ones were kickass! the newer bk toys are so simplistic id rather have baby keys jingled in my face for 2 minutes
