Love, love, love it!!!!, Stamperia paper is beautiful, the design is great! and the techniques you used in the cover to make the dragonfly alive is just stunning!!!, thank for sharing your amazing talent Katly!!! ❤
Wow wow wow! I will watch this video several times! Your creativity and technics are amazing! The papers, materials and colors are outstanding! I love all of your videos but this one really struck a cord with me! I think it’s the paper and colors mostly! Please continue to share your wonderful creations!
Wow, thank you so much Debbie! You have no idea how much I appreciate this comment! I'm with you...this collection is everything I love on paper. I'm so glad the project speaks to you. Happy crafting!
Finally got chance to carve out some me time to enjoy looking at your folio in much more detail. Boy oh boy I'm so sold! The way you used those embossing powders to bring some of the embellishments to life, the clever staggered flip (noted for future use ;)) and all of those natural elements nesting in amongst the altered flowers just have me in awe of this one. A new favourite for sure! Thank you for continuing to share your talents, time and passion with us all so freely xxx
Oh my God it is amazing paper and thanks so much for all tips and tutorial. I am already buy some stuff in the store you talk about thanks again for all tips. I loved and I will have a lot of fun. 🤗🤗🤗
This is a great project. Unfortunately, I didn't have the long craft paper on hand but had some heavy craft stock and used it to create the same size. It still looks great! I'm looking forward to decorating it.
That's awesome! It works great with paper that you've joined together. Have fun making this one, and thanks for letting me know about your creative "fix".
Kathy, this folio is unbelievable! I love all your creations, but this one really spoke to me! I have two questions though...have been hunting for a glassine envelope like you used, but to no avail. Also cannot find the Little Birdie flowers you used...only a site for retailers. Thanks for your help.
Hi, Joanne! I just now found this comment buried in my feed. I apologize for the extreme delay in my reply. I get glassine envelopes at The Funkie Junkie Boutique. You can purchase Little Birdie Flowers online at The Button Farm Club. She has a really nice selection and great prices. Again, sorry for the delay. I do so appreciate your kind comment. Thanks for watching!
I love your videos so much. I just find it sad it took me so long to get here. This project is stunning! You’ve explained and shared so many great products that are new to me. Love the folio design and especially like the added texture of the burlap on the cover. The dragonfly with the beeswax beyond words beautiful. I really enjoyed watching and learning. Thank you Kathy, this was a fantastic share. Patti
Awww! Thank you so much, Patti! I'm am just thrilled that you are finding ideas and techniques that you can add to your crafty toolbox here. That makes my day! Isn't that beeswax baked texture amazing? Thanks for making my day, my friend!
This is absolutely beautiful! Your work is stunning!!! Can you tell us how you made that beautiful dragonfly? I ordered the paper and a few other things so I can recreate this as a canvas. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
Thank you so much, Diane! I appreciate your kind words. I used an embossing pen (Versamark makes these) to cover the image, then heat embossed with Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture. If you read the blog post, I share a lot of helpful information there, and there are links to all the products I used. Happy crafting!
New subby I've been watching your videos all day and you are my new favorite. You are so creative and make such beautiful pieces!! Thanks for sharing your awesomeness!!!!
Hi, Susanne! I buy all my ribbon, including seam binding ribbon, online from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Here is the link: reasonableribbon.com/ Happy crafting!
Hi, Anne! Thank you so much! I confess, this folio is one of my favorites! It's just one pack of paper ..and you will have enough left overs to make a card or two. You can get the paper at The Funkie Junkie Boutique for a very good price. Happy shopping and papercrafting! xo
Hi, Lilah! I'm glad you are enjoying my channel. I work with product that inspires me. This collection is readily available online as are most of the products I use. Once in a while I work with a retired collection because I know crafty people like new ideas for using items in their stashes.

Hi, Joanne! Thank you so much for these kind words! I so appreciate them! Sadly, I cannot get more of the Little Birdie Flowers. They were sent to me in a sample pack, but I can't find them on the LB website. If I could, I would buy more for myself Iand for you.) Evidently some of what LB makes is for export only, and they don't stock it in the online store. But stay tuned...I've heard a rumor that we will soon be able to buy these flowers in the US. I'm hoping that comes to pass. When it does, i will let you know! The glassine bag I used was an old Tim Holtz product. I don't think they are sold anymore. But you could substitute a kraft coin envelope. I did a quick online search and found this Etsy shop that says they have kraft glassine bags. Good luck, and happy crafting! www.etsy.com/market/kraft_glassine_bags
Thanks Kathy for all the info. i have been making my own flowers for this folio and if do say so myself, they have turned out great. Of course, thanks to your wonderful photos and tutorial pics. I have managed to find some of Tim's glassine envelopes cannot believe it!!!!! But will not tell you how long I have worked on these flowers, ha,ha.
Wow...that is awesome, Joanne! I'd love to see it when it's finished! So happy you found the glassine envelopes, too. They are scarcer than hen's teeth. I guess they were not great sellers, but I loved them! Thanks for the update! Happy crafting!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Love Stamperia papers and you showcased this collection perfectly! Was this one pack of paper?

Thanks, Ann! That's an oldie but a goodie! It was one of the first Stamperia collections I ever purchased. Still a favorite!
Your videos are great but I always wonder WHY you choose papers/collections that are older , retired, and very difficult to find and buy ?
