I'm not convinced by the squaredeal corner trim as it looks like the top piece of cladding would need to be very short in order for it to be slotted in at both ends, as there would be no room to tilt the board up at either end to facilitate that.

You know how to do the cladding but your fascia is horrific. And also isn't your window upside down??? That's the trickle vent grove at the bottom
