Pretty sure the purple stuff is the blob-like thing created when a CG mixed Bacteria X with growth serum in “The Germ” (1:28). Yes, I remembered the episode, but, yes, I had to look up the name and number. Pretty sure the donut and coffee is episode specific too, but can’t recall.
Major Bludd is definitely the standout character from this wave. He’s pretty much the only one outta this S7 wave that Hasbro hasn’t really done justice to in their classified line. As a kid he was always on the same level of Zartan for me in regards to where he ranked on the Cobra hierarchy. Totally agree with you on the price point of the S7 Ultimates. I think S7 really has priced themselves out of the mainstream market by sticking to the $55 price point. Especially when online retailers went crazy with discounts on ultimates in general last year. All that being said, I do love this cartoon accurate Joe line. I hope they keep it going because there’s probably about four or five more characters I really would like to have in their cartoon accurate looks.
The classified major blood figure is one of the best and most sought after in the line …..it’s your opinion and you can have it but I think most people would disagree
@@George-de6hd I believe the GIJC Bludd is so sought after and highly priced at this point because he was only released as one of the Target Cobra Island exclusives. Hasbro definitely did a very good classified version of him inspired by the RAH toy. But until he ends up on a Hasbro retro card, this Super7 is the only cartoon accurate version of him out not in 4 inch scale.
@ultramag0343 oh, yeah. Just pointing out the differences between the toy and cartoon design. I find it interesting that some figures come with their figure accessories and cartoon accessories and others dont't.
I'm a G.I.Joe fan but not at this price point. $34.99 is the sweet spot for me as a collector. The paint is very nice but the articulation is sub-par. I still have my 4" collection and Classified is doing the retro-card figures so i don't need this line as much as some. If I have some free money, I might try it out a figure.
I could still see them doing 10 more waves and add in a miscellaneous character in there as a convention exclusive over the next 5 years: Joes 1. Shipwreck 2. Spirit & Freedom 3. Alpine 4. Bazooka 5. Quick Kick 6. Beachhead 7. Leatherneck 8. Wet-Suit 9. Sgt. Slaughter 10. Wild Bill 11. General HAwk 12. Dusty 13. Low-Light 14. Footloose 15. Snowjob 16. Mutt & Junkyard 17. Mainframe 18. Rock ‘n Roll 19. Snake Eyes (V2) 20. Ace 21. Breaker Cobra 1. Scrap Iron 2. Firefly 3. Tomax 4. Xamo 5. Buzzer 6. Ripper 7. Torch 8. Copperhead 9. Wild Weasel 10. Serpentor 11. Dr. Mindbender 12. Zarana 13. Zandar 14. Cobra Eel 15. Snow Serpent 16. Cobra Trooper (Female) 17. Cobra Viper 18. Tele-Viper 19. Cobra Officer (Lt. Claymore head add in) Misc. 1. Hector Ramirez 2. Baron Ironblood 3. Black Major 4. Red Wolf 5. Kraken 6. Cobra de Aco 7. Raven
It gets hard to sell a line after the A-Listers get made. If you aren't doing need Snake Eyes and Cobra Commanders you can't attract new fans to the line. People feel left behind.
GAH!!! More G.I. Joes and another OVERPRICED item, I have basely half the collection. Just need the Baroness (black), Doc, Cobra Trooper, Stalker and of course wave 5. It is very VERY hard to continue this collection of figures considering that they are incredibly pricey. trying to get get these on sale with a wing of a prayer. but deciding on what to get is half the battle!! I really want the Roadblock & Major Bludd. Covergirl & Crimson guard will have to take a backseat on a sale or two.
The glasses with the yellow hair I believe is the reference to the Fred VII clone from the Joe comics. He’s a Crimson Guard that becomes the new Cobra Commander in the Comics.
Must haves for the Ultimates Line would be the Cobra Viper trooper, General Hawk, Beachhead, Shipwreck. For figures Super 7 could possibly remold some Torpedo, Wet Suit, and Cobra EEL. Also the Crimson Twins in their normal uniform and their business suits. I would buy them all. Love this line
I don't really do plus and minus. Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness are true A listers, arguably followed by Storm Shadow and Zartan. B Listers would be The Twins, Dr Mindbender, and Serpentor . Then maybe Bludd could be there or drop down possibly lumped with the original 3 Dreadnoks. C List is Zarana, Firefly. D List is like Scrap Iron and Copper Head.
Yeah if you’re going in like actual rank of authority or power within the Cobra organization of the 1980s show, I would put Bluddd on the same tier as Zartan. Possibly one above depending on where you rank Zartan. I think power rankings would go: Tier 1 = Cobra Commander, Serpentor, Destro Tier 2 = Baroness, Tomax/Xamot, Mindbender Tier 3 = Zartan, Storm Shadow, Bludd
Sadly the Super 7 O-ring figures aren't very good either. I had 3 of them and Cover Girl looks like a lifeless doll and that Snake Eyes doesn't match any comic or toon deco. My Cobra Commander had a glue splotch on his arm and it was super loose. Considering Super 7 hasn't listed another pre-order wave yet I don't think this line will continue in waves, but rather offer a figure here and there which will kill the line. And now Hasbro is doing some toon decos so it's probably better for Hasbro to handle anything toon and just let Super 7 do O-ring. Shame as I really wanted Sunbow figures but Super 7 is getting progressively worse as a company and they just don't seem to be able to make figures of this scale. They never offered to fix Lady Jaye or Flint's heads not being painted and I think that started a lot of people, me included, to stop buying these.

Yeah, the majority of the acessoriers are episode specific. I just don't usually know.
I absolutely love these. A Zarana would be great down the line 🙏
Yeah, I could see them doing her.
This wave looks really cool man... I will get these figures when I can.😀☕✌️💡
Yeah, they are pretty good.
Awesome review as always, maybe the CG head with the glasses is Fred VII
Maybe? I don't think Fred wore glasses.
@6:13 I believe that is a timing light gun used on combustion engines.
I was thinking that too, but the mold/shape makes it look like a" radar trap" gun.
That makes sense.

Good. I ordered Roadblock. Then later Covergirl, Blud and maybe Guardsman (probably not)
You gotta remember, these are based off of the cartoon, not the toy !
They'll sometimes They'll add toy accessories with cartoon accessories.
Yes, I think that's what I said in the video.
@Pegwarmers Yeah, but throughout the video, you would make comments about the figure not looking like the vintage toy !
@ultramag0343 oh, yeah. Just pointing out the differences between the toy and cartoon design. I find it interesting that some figures come with their figure accessories and cartoon accessories and others dont't.

Cover girl looks so much like Red Rosamond ❤

Fred didn't wear glasses, and he also wasn't blonde.
@@Pegwarmers , you really have me at a loss on that head sculpt then. Perhaps it’s in another episode I’m not remembering.
@joehenry9546 I'm not sure. There are a lot of episodes and it's been a few years. So only the most memorable ones stick in my head.

Yeah, those are all good calls
hope super 7 makes shipwreck next
That would be good!
Great review, but going to have disagree with you on Major Bludd being a C to B lister. He definitely a B+ to A- lister!

I get confused with regards Cover Girl if she's blonde or brown-haired lady.
The cartoon gave her blonde hair for a mini-series.

Lol, "to much detail" on a tubular shaped, chalky looking S7 figure. 😂😂😂
Cover Girl looks really Asian to me.
I'll have to give her another look.
