Interesting. Thank you for making this video. I didn’t know these rocktemples. I guess the rockcaves themselves are much much older and have had occupational use for animals and humans since their beginnings.
This structure seems to continue inside or behind the rock. Has it been buried in a lava flow and then dug out at a later time? What if this is a petrified imprint of free standing buildings originally constructed from different materials like wood, concrete, etc, and the petrification just created the illusion of being rock carved? Look at the structure at 15:14, the lower ring has what looks like metal bolts holding the ‘bulb’ in place. Could this be the imprint of a device which was once made from metal and what we see is just the fossilized imprint of what was once there?

All the rock cut cave temples belong to Buddhism. Read research paper and Cave temples of India published by Dr. BURGESS and papers of lord Cunningham the first archeologists of British India.
What if they appeared long before the advent of Buddhism and originally belonged to the Hindu religion, and the Stupa in the rock is Shiva Lingam? What if people began to create cave temples in the Copper and Bronze Ages, maybe at first small caves and rooms
