Non core mai avg is 7-8|pa but non core is HARD to get into, you need a really good cg for that. If you are willing to spend 30lakhs on your ug just know you will have to spend additional money on your higher education i.e masters as well because pharma does not guarantee a high paying job and the growth is very very less and stagnant. And if your cg is below 7 you can go unplaced. My suggestion would be that if you come from a well to do family and can afford masters or higher education which would cost you additional 30-40lakhs along with the 30lakhs spent on your ug, go for it! But if not, do your ug in minimal cost and save your money for masters, which would aid you in the long run and provide exponential growth as compared to pharma from bits at freaking 30lakhs. In my case, by gods grace my family was however well to do and I do not care much about placements as I plan to go to Germany to pursue higher education in pharma so I could afford pharma. So take a rational decisions calculate your risks and your finances, baaki all the best!

Just multiply numerator and deno. With (1-x)
