He's gonna compete at your National Finals in D.C. on the 22/23 for the title to come to South Africa for the World Finals. He got Dirty Diana in the final round, but he rocked the crowd. Didn't expect that at all. I wish him all th best and really hope he makes it all the way.

I actually wondered if you could dance Afrobeats as they didn't play those beats in Dance your Style, but I saw you in All Styles. It made me kinda wonder to what roots you are connecting or if its just a genre you decided to tap in. Afrobeats seem to be more popular in Europe where a lot more people remain connected to Africa.
I've heard you say you've been in the game for a while. It would be so cool to see some of your old school and recent battles. I know you kicked butt! I looked at quite a few of your videos and I like your style. 🙂

It's still happening. Ony the L.A. battles are on Stance. Prince Wayne won the Atlanta regionals on the 7th. You can see his battles on Impakvisuals channel. There is still Miami I think ....or is it Memphis. Sorry there I speak under correction. Then the US finals will be held on 22 nd 23 rd in D.C. I don't know where you can watch all the battles though. I do hope Prince Wayne makes it through to the World Finals. The competition is really stiff from other countries. Soyuz beat Rubix to win the France Nationals. Jordan J Funk from Homebros took the UK title. He's also a beast. It's gonna be a really hot final here in S.A.. I hope Metal can at least react to the regional final battles held in the different US cities. The competition in this format has been running since 2018 but this is only the 2nd World Finals. 2019 was in Paris. Shin Shan won that. Not all dancers like the format. The deejay playing any type of music and on top of that the crowd is the judge. Being pushed out of your comfort zone of im a Popper, im a Bboy, I'm a Krumper can only be good for any dancer. It's like learning new languages. It opens up new dance worlds for you. I hope Red Bull upload all the battles worldwide so dancers can see the common denominator which is an open mind to learn other styles and become jsut a dancer. It's personal choice, it I dont hink dancers should just slot themselves into these compartments of I dance this style and that's it. Dancers must also eat. This poor struggling and suffering for the art is old fashioned. Everyone can have their preference. Just like being a doctor. You can cure General ailments and specialize in whatever field you choose. Dancers can learn to dance and specialize and their preferred genre. And on that and being business savvy you can build a career that can really sustain you. Sorry guys we discussed Dance Your Style recently on Metal's podcast. So I'm still into that discussion. I went and watched previous battles and was a bit shocked to read some dancers reaction towards it. But its early days still. Hopefully more would really get the memo. As for Prince Wayne. Now he really understood the assignment. Congrats and all the best to him. If he makes it to S.A. I will personally hype up the crowd on his behalf.
