You don’t want to use a pitch corrector with the A natural minor preset if the key of the song is in A major. A Natural Minor: A, B, C, D, E, F, G A Major: A, B, C#, D, E, F#, G# You’re going to have notes that will auto pitch incorrectly because they’re not in the same key. I always just use the chromatic option to nudge my voice to the closest cent or semitone.
Really well explained! I wanted to learn layers and I did. And some more! A quick feedback bellow if you are interested: It enriches you work if instead of just telling people to put the EQ settings in a certain value, you tell them why you are choosing the values you chose. Don't be lazy. Don't underestimate your viewers capability of understanding. Thank you for sharing your knowledge : ).
@Miles Rothe Because dry is just adding on the already present, directly routed dry signal, it messes up the gain staging. If you want more dry, you can just turn up the fader on the channel itself. Also, it can give you unwanted parallel processing bypass. For a better explanation I'd need illustrations. But basically, you never want to be doubling up the dry signal, so effects that go via sends should be wet only.
@@ferflores3360 Yes, I can. I will make that soon. Tomorrow even. But basically: dry signal is just exactly the same signal being sent via an aux to the same stereo out, so you are adding signal to itself.
As a bass in choir for 10 years. that “ alright I’m gonna go real low now” that baseline. the most non-low most non-bass I’ve ever heard. but other than that. Great video first time watcher been trying to work out the kinks for this program. Very helpful video man!
For having a gpa of 0.5 you have the possibility of getting better as I struggle to walk again. My left hand looks like a crab from driving tired home on leave from fort Lee Virginia. Richmond is an awesome place for an audio engineer type. Studio 33 north in Richmond Virginia welcomes you with open arms if you ever find yourself around that way and your not in the mood for drugs. Churchill is the very top of Richmond and you probably won't regret going there to check studio 33 north on the corner of grace street and 33rd street you sound like post Malone type of choir sound. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going on with the trials and tribulations of traumatic brain injury deficiencies
Logic Pro X seems like amazing software. I think I should drop the money on it and give it a try. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but after watching these videos it looks like it's totally worth it.
*I'm high AF, but was that the Crash Bandicoot music in the beginning?* Either way, I'm stoked to play Crash on the one 👍 Also, this was the single most useful video I've seen on youtube in a really really long time. Seriously 💯
the fact he admits to not completely knowing how EVERYTHING works just makes it even nicer to watch
You are singing the same melody in each take. Just changing your tone. This is great tutorial on doubling, but not harmonizing
@JK COVINGTON haha,"respectfully"
3:11 -Post malone :O
Lazy Keys I know right😂
3:11 Corbyn Besson
I thought the same lmaoooo

Makes no sense to add dry on the send reverb.

"creativity loves speed" and it helps to know your way around the software. Love returning to Crab Lord!
Yeah, doubling, not harmonies. 👍🏽
FreeThought2007 exactly
RIPX That was so necessary!
@@ripx9903 You idiot!

Technically, a unison is still patt of harmony. It's just not interesting harmony
