Interesting to compare this with the Sebok version I just uploaded! I don't know the piece very well, but on first hearing Sebok seems to be more temperamental & fiery, also in choice of tempos...but both are very fine performances I think.
Yeah I think Gabos is a bit more detached but, as you said, both are playing it superbly. The Hungarian piano tradition is really one of the very great ones!
