Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! While we are enjoying our amazing UK - Scotland tour with the family, we blessed our trip by visiting 2 beautiful Gurdwara's here in Glasgow City. It would be really nice to see the church that Abbey attended growing up!!
Maybe she didn’t go to church growing up. Many people say they have a Christian background but don’t really practice their faith growing up. The majority of white people celebrate Christmas and Easter without actually being Christian or Catholics etc

I go to the guru Granth sahib one great gurdwara
The second gurdwara is the largest place of worship in Scotland.
And Abbey is right. There was a gurdwara on that same road with the same name which was very long standing before funds were raised to purchase the land and build that new one that you visited.
There were very long serving sevadars (volunteers) whose faces I recognise as I grew up there.
The community my parents belonged to all contributed to the massive fundraising efforts.
Before that car park was built, it was very difficult to get a space. The new building was inaugurated to so much celebration a few years ago.
The size of the sangat has slowly declined which is such a shame. As you say, it is a place of peace and tranquility.
The size swells around special events in Sikh calendar.
There are 4 gurdwaras in total. The other one is in Nithsdale which is the one I used to go to before we moved house. The other is Otago St.

Wow i loved the first Gurdwara but the sencond was beautiful. Ive been to two Gurdwaras in Auckland and then the golden temple in 2015 with my partner and family. Just so beautifull. This has been the best video I've mine since you all have landed in Scotland. 😊❤

BTW, I remember visiting Gurdvara Saahib in my birth-town Agra. Was super beautiful.
Its of course very special to visit Gurdvara anywhere, but its also special to visit a Gurdvara in a city that has a special and individual meaning for you personally. So cool for Noah and Hazel to visit Gurdvara Saahib in the home city of their mom. ❤🙏🏻

When you visit London the London eye is on southbank. There is a nice aquarium the kids would love and a shrek experience you can take them too. Beware don’t want to scare you but when you visit London make sure you keep eye on your valuables don’t have your phone out too much as there are lots off pickpockets in London who printed to bump in to you next minute they pickpocketed wallet or phone. Don’t be put off by that but just making you aware. Also the Christmas markets should be on in London. There are a lot off ice rinks opened up now in London too. I don’t know if you heard off the o2 and not d sad ire how long you are in the uk for but in Greenwich 02 they have got Disney on ice at the 02 arena in December but you have to go online for tickets . But you may be back in new Zealand by then but Hazel would love it.

Oh of course - anyone is allowed inside Gurdwaras and the people are always very welcoming! Enjoy and explore (this gurdwara is stunning) - the community will love it 🥰❤️ sundays are when they are busiest if you want to see them in their full potential!
